Solid and plentiful brushes
While these are just cheap brushes, for a miniature painter they are a fantastic tool to apply basecoat, washes, and just general busy work. Out of the 4 brushes I've used so far they have just been solid workhorses.

Best bang for buck but no replacement for quality
Picked up a couple of these sets for my miniature commission studio so far. They make excellent brushes for mass base coating or abrasive paints because the cost per brush is so low. They certainly aren't the highest quality though the bristles are reasonably decent, Guide hairs tend to be very prominent and lose bristles round the edge on maybe 1 in 8 brushes. The tips of the smallest brushes can curl even just in use, never mind if left in water. but even when they do the tip remains reasonably sharp. Can take a reasonable beating from regular use, I've base coated all the colours on a squad of models before losing a nice tip. But once they give up they go to unusable very fast. Washes especially will destroy the bristle coherency in one or two uses. That said I could say the same if not worse about all other synthetic brush sets I've tried and these work out at least half the price per brush of most of those. I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THEM, Just don't plan on replacing your nicest sables for fine detail work.

Good brushes
Fab brushes ( but dont leave standing in water too long or ends bend up). Excellent sizes. Great ease of use handles. They are that good ive bought another ser 9 months later.

not the quality I regularly get from Royal Langford
I normally buy the 10 packs of Royal Langford Taklon brushes and they are much better quality then these. I don't know if these are fakes or if they are just a lower quality version. They are ok for the price but these are more like an unbranded cheap knock of then Royal Langford.
