I wanted to know if this needs to be followed by a moisturizer or it can be used alone?

I always follow with a moisturizer!! The serum is just a treatment. If it's daytime, I make sure that my moisturizer has at least SPF 30...But I always have a facial sunscreen with me in my purse. I use the Neutrogena spf 110 on top of my serum and moisturizer. It's very important to limit the amount of sun you get exposed to when you are using serums like this Retinol. It can also dry out your skin at first , so please don't skip that moisturizer. And remember to do a nightly skin care routine . Don't forget your night moisturizer :) Happy, healthy faces!! <3

Retinol should only be applied at night, so no need to layer it with sunscreen. Daily sunscreen use is essential when using retinol.

Yes but it is subtle. It makes my skin feel wonderful!

Oh yes it sure did! This serum helped my dark spots and any small discoloration around my face fade! This product is the holy grail to me. My face is really spot free and I love it. I only use this at night fyi.
