worked well.
I recently had a shower hose explosion. My shower knob is damaged and the water will not shut off fully, so I've been using a shower head with a pause function to get around the damage until I can get it fixed. However this worked fine for a little while but the hose apparently is not designed for long-term high pressure and exploded got my carpet slightly flooded. This valve easily screwed into place above the hose it fit really well for my intended purpose as a shut-off pre-shower head so that no pressure is on the hose. It's very sturdy and it feels heavy enough to be reliable. It's been nice to not have to worry about the hose being under pressure anymore. So I highly recommend this valve because it works well.

Shower Head Shut Off Valve 304 stainless steel Mini Ball Valve is great, but …
This shut off valve is great, but has a small leak on the side of female threads, engaging onto the shower arm. I try many times to add a rubber ring (not provided) that I bought from Amazon, also increase the number of turns of teflon from 6 to 8 turns. However, it still leaks one drop every 10 or 15 seconds.
