I did have an issue with my first one, after a couple of months using it, it just stopped working. Like it just ran out of energy, completely. Not sure why. I contacted the company and they asked me to send a short video showing what was happening (or in this case, not happening). No questions after that, they replaced it right away. This is probably one of the easiest and best tools I have used for light etching. Did the dremel for years but, on smaller projects the dremel is over kill. I highly recommend this tool if you do smaller etching projects. and the company stands by their product! That says a lot

I had some trouble holding it in place at first but now I’m a semi pro! I’ve even carved with it on a few rocks. I love the power it has. My surface rock work looks great now. Love it

I bought this and after a few weeks it no longer works it charges but doesn't run. Very 😞 😥 waste of money

Ads show folks using the tool on wood; which is quite impossible with the supplied bits. Bits from wired engravers are too big to fit this tool, so no help there. It works great on glass. I tried it on stone which worked better than on wood, but not well. Bits wear out quickly. I like the freedom of this small untethered tool but it really only works on glass and some plastics.

This is the second we bought so both of us could have them. They're not bad for the size and price. Much better than others I have tried. The power is pretty good and charge lasts pretty long.My only complaints would be I would rather have rasp tips than diamond and the set screw and allen wrench are a bit undersized

As far as functionality, on wood (because I’ve been combing it with my pyrography which has been pretty cool. I literally just finished that to take a pic), it does sound like a dentist cleaning your teeth, but it functions perfectly. It fits perfectly in my hand, the 3 settings are more than enough options. (Oh also, a little annoyed I had to use a different Allen wrench after tightening the screw too much. I stripped it very easily, and it was very difficult to get out so I would caution you.). But if you’re looking to engrave like rocks, glass, etc.—harder objects, then it has everything you need. Well worth the money. 19 diamond bits or so. And one designed for wood. And because it’s so compact, other standard bits are 3mm. These are 3/32” (2.32 mm). So I had to do some digging, because they want you to order the $40 5 bit wood carving set from culiau’s website. But I was able to find a set of 6 or 7 wood bits on Amazon that I can confirm do fit, and function better than I expected, for like $12. And they are more than enough. So maybe my fault for not noticing, but I was disappointed with the one wood bit. 3.7 stars IMO.
