Very good quality, easy to use highly recommended

I held back on writing a review for this for a good three months because my very initial impressions weren't great. I expected to be blown away by this stock, and initially I wasn't. It's only been since I started to incorporate it into more and more of my cooking that I've been able to appreciate the flavour when compared to the bog standard vegetable stock cubes I usually use. It really does produce a better flavour. Most vegetable stock cubes seem to be overwhelming in either their herbiness or their celery flavours. This stock is just so well balanced and it adds a great depth to dishes. I really can't tell you whether it really does taste beefy because I haven't eaten beef for nearly thirty years - and I don't think I'd be too keen on this stock if it had some kind of (to me) alien meaty flavour. But I can tell you that it does take my cooking to a higher level. Seitan tastes amazing with a spoon of this added into the recipe. It 'tasties up' stir fry amazingly well. And adds a lovely dimension to chilli and other dishes. A small tub does go a long way, so even though it seems expensive, I've used it an awful lot and I yet still have a little bit left. It's probably time to reorder now though, which means I really do like it! I'm contemplating trying the 'chicken' flavour now.

Great taste....it has a real depth of flavour. And it's all vegan which is great. I would give it 5 stars but it is very pricey so 4* it is.

I chanced to discover Massel Stock Powder when I searched for an MSG-free product. It is plant-based too, and gluten-free, all of which prompted me to buy it. Happily, it also tastes good in home-made soups, or sprinkled onto mushrooms as they are fried - it's pretty versatile. I like each of the veggie options, "chicken" "beef" and the vegetable stock. The product ticks all the boxes for me, so will continue to purchase more as needed.

I expected more taste

Jam packed full of flavour.Totally vegan. And you'll be forgiven for checking the ingredients list on more than one occasion, checking that it doesn't contain real chicken. There's a real clean-ness from the taste of this which I can only attribute to sea salt from the Great Southern Ocean. I only wish I didn't have to watch my salt intake. Perhaps, they'll make a reduced salt version in time to come.

Ich war so froh, das hier zu finden, ich komme aus Australien und ich liebe dieses Produkt absolut und vermisse es so sehr. Normalerweise schickt meine Mutter es mir, aber es ist sehr teuer, es zu senden. Ich war froh, es bei Amazon zu finden. Ich benutze es mit allem, was ich koche, und obwohl ein 6er-Pack ziemlich viel ist, funktioniert es am Ende gut für den Preis.

I ordered both the beef and chicken. Really good flavor. Used some in my rice. Went from bland to great. Only use a small amt. I think it's stronger than cubes and dissolves right away
