This was the 4th DREO fan purchased. This one rotates both horizontal and vertical - both at the same time option, adjustable speeds and range of motion, timer, remote control and app to make it even easier. It is very very quiet and pushes more air than typical fan because of the way it rotates. After almost a year of use it developed an odd issue of the oscillation rotation shifting to the left - very slowly but eventually changing the area receiving the fan’s air. [we have had no issues with our other DREO fans]. I contacted customer support at DREO and after trading a few emails and submitting a short video showing the problem, DREO quickly offered to send me a new fan. They included an apology for the trouble and told me to keep the older unit and use it where the rotation is not needed. The customer rep [Tracy Hesung] was a pleasure to work with and was always timely in responding and replying to my emails, etc. She even did a follow-up to make sure I had the tracking number to monitor shipment / arrival time. These days it is hard to find a quality product and a company that will stand behind it even when there is a problem. DREO is that kind of company and the added bonus was Tracy - I could not have been happier.

I changed to this brand from a vornado. I was having issues with the vornado fans only lasting a few years. Either the motors even with cleaning would start to run slower causing a smell or the 733 model which I had lost power altogether. So far so good on this one. It is very quiet, and I don't even need to use the osalation feature as it's so powerful the air circulates throughout my whole bedroom. I am blind so I do have to use the app and lady A because the regular controls on the unit are touchscreen and I have to be able to feel or listen to the controls. Hopefully dreo will consider making physical buttons in the future or even adding an accessible overlay for people like me who are blind or visually impaired.

I bought it last year and used it during a very hot summer without A/C in my apartment. It is probably one of the best purchase I’ve ever made. It’s light weight in case you want to change rooms. It’s very easy to use and it is a plus that you can turn it on through the app while you are not at home. It’s SO MUCH BETTER than a normal fan. It was so much power and it moves any direction. I just simply love it.

This is a superb fan. We were leary about it at first but voila when we read the instructions and got it going it was a wonderful fan.Everything does its job well. The hard part in the instructions is figuring out how to lower the fan when using it. For some reason or other it was difficult. Quality is top notch.I wish they had a similar unit in a smaller size with these features but they do not. I even contacted Dreo and they said a smaller unit was not in the works. Too bad because I would have ordered two of them.

Update: After a quick response from customer service the fan was replaced. Putting that back to 5 stars. Tracy at DREO customer support was fantastic! Thank you.This was my favorite fan, until now.It just randomly quit working. It wont power on at all. I've confirmed the outlet functions by plugging something else into it, I've reset the breaker (not that-that was needed, when using the outlet with another device that device turned on just fine), no joy.It's been less that a year since I bought it, I would have expected more from a fan in this price range.

I have had the fan for several weeks now. I can’t comment on its multi-year longevity but I am very satisfied with its performance so far.The manual controls consist of six touch buttons in the base: power, fan speed, horizontal oscillation range, vertical oscillation range, mode, and timer. Values or settings are shown on an LED display on the fan supporting column. These functions are duplicated on the remote control unit. The controls work as follows:* Fan speed: nine speeds. At speeds 1 - 3 I can comfortably read a book or snooze within five feet of the fan. There is a slight background wind noise from the fan blades. At speeds 4 and 5 I can still read or snooze but the wind noise is more noticeable. At speeds 6 - 9 the wind noise is too high to allow reading or napping nearby. All these sounds come from the air passing through the fan blades. The motor is almost silent. I mostly use fan speed 3. Even at this speed, the air circulation within the room is very good and I have installed the fan in a combination living room - dining room with dimensions approximately 35 feet (11 meters) long x 17 feet (5.5 meters) wide x 15 feet (4.5 meters) ceiling height. I have never found a need to use a fan speed greater than 5.* There are four angle settings for vertical oscillation and five settings for horizontal oscillation. The vertical oscillation ranges are 0, 30, 60, and 90 degrees. The horizontal oscillation ranges are 0, 30, 60, 90, and 120 degrees. In both cases, at a setting of “0” the fan will maintain the angle or setting that you can manually set by adjusting the fan on its column before starting the fan.* Timer: nine settings 0 - 9 hours at one hour intervals. At a setting of “0” the fan runs continuously until you turn it off. The fan is advertised as being able to start / stop by clock settings. This can only be done if you download the Dreo fan control app onto your cellphone. I have not done this, so I cannot comment on how easily this feature works.

I have a tower fan but man this takes up less space and is way more powerful!!! Get this fan over the blades fan this is much better air flow. Good job Dreo!

This, hands down is the best fan I have ever owned! For its size, it really moves air. It has many options that are programmable to suit your own needs. On the lower speeds, it is extremely quiet. It even oscillates not only side to side, it oscillates up and down! You will not regret buying this little gem. It’s worth every penny!! Absolutely love it!
