This probably is the best travel clipper because you don't need to worry about batteries or having it turn on in your suitcase. That being said, it isn't perfect...sometimes it will pull the hair instead of clipping. For home use I still prefer the electric. Rated 4 stars because it's good as a travel clipper but sometimes the mechanism sticks.

The product quality is as advertised. I will purchase and continue to use the product.

We had this product for about 6 months and realized it wasn't going to work anymore. It started to give us trouble after the 3rd month. We cleaned it and checked things, but ultimately it didn't do the job. I'm hoping there is a warranty. I have put in a request to Swissklip. Hope they answer. I will follow up if they make it good.

Spent most of my life with a small pair of scissors and a small flashlight standing in front of a mirror to take care of this task. Got this little tool to give it a test as my nose hair (and every place else) grows remarkedly faster the older I get. The trimmer is very small in size and fits the nostril holes. I found that having the steady hand of a medical surgeon would help tremendously as I have found that the trimmer works as designed but pinching the two "brackets" together causes the tool in my hand to move and frequently caused some frequent pulling instead of cutting of the hairs in the blade area. I guess it is a matter of technique and I will continue to develop the procedure and gain the skill to get the advertised results, because I will NOT go the wax job way.

I hoped to replace my electric trimmer with something non-electric that would allow me to trim more regularly. There were no instructions though it seemed pretty obvious what needed to be done. When I did manage to snag some nose hair and get it trimmed, it was not as close as I had hoped or as close as I can get with the electric nose trimmer. And maybe I have thicker nose hair, but to get it to finally cut, the last push of the levers always seemed to pull/yank the hairs, which is exactly what I was trying to avoid. They seemed to be made of quality materials and it seemed like it would be easy to clean but it was overall a disappointment for me and I returned it.

It is manually operated but it gets to the hair and cuts them. Better than two electric units that I own.
