The Amaran 300c is an outstanding light. The output is extremely bright, the RGB colors are vibrant, and the control through the Sidus Link app makes adjustments quick and easy. After much deliberation, I decided to invest in this video light, having previously opted for cheaper alternatives. I can confidently say that it was worth every cent. I ordered one light last week, struggled to learn how to use the phone app for it, BUT once I got it set up to practice at home and then used it for an event this past Friday, I was blown away once I started rolling through guests. I practiced on my grandson and I LOVED it. I need to buy a second one to really be able to balance the light. When I say this light is bright...if I pointed it up towards space, satellites would be confused. I think I used it at less than 50% power and feathered the light to get the shadowy, warm look I was going for with everyone. Guests were blown away by the images they received and I was constantly smiling at my computer as I shared them. The light stayed the same the whole time (5:30PM to 8:45PM), no flickering, nothing. I will be using this for podcasting and more. The only thing I wonder about it is replacing the light if/when I need to do so. I didn't see replacement parts on the site.

The 300c delivers impressive output, color accuracy, and flexibility for the price. The RGB and CCT range are excellent, and the Bowens mount keeps it versatile for modifiers. Build quality feels solid but the fan can get a bit loud in quiet setups, and the app connection occasionally drops. Still, it’s a great value for smaller productions or as a secondary key.

If you’re looking for some budget friendly lights I would recommend these ones. The output isn’t crazy but it gets the job done for my small studio space. Love how you can change the colors in the Sidus link app as well
