I bought to make chicken shawarma and the flavor did not disappoint. I used a yogurt spice blend marinade. Flavor and spice were there. Was very delish. Only downside was it comes in such a small amount.

I just got this item, and decided to use it on homemade lamb burgers, instead of my normal onion/garlic/cumin/Italian seasoning powders. Immediately after the meat hitting the grill pan, the whole house was filled with the most delicious scent! I used the big hole when shaking (be careful!), and a lot came out…I almost thought I ruined the burgers and they may end up too spicy or over-seasoned for my 11-year old. But no! Apparently, it was the perfect amount for the pound of meat involved. Next time, though, I’ll use the small hole side, to be more cautious about controlling amounts. But it turned out yummy, and I now only wish that these little tins were bigger, as I’m sure it will be a staple in my rotation!

The overall taste is OK, but why add sugar? Also, the cost is out of proportion to the small size and the ingredients included in the mix.Disappointed. Will not buy again.
