Bought this for my son for Christmas. He was also dropping his mouse or keyboard while sitting in his recliner. No more! And no more searching for things. It's all at his fingertips. Great value, sturdy, good quality and just the right size and weight.

This is a solid unit however, after using it for a month now, I can tell you that the part that fits under your chair is not quite long enough and I had to buy a piece of plywood to put on top of it and under my whole chair to keep it from tipping over when swinging it out. Also,it would be a lot better if it were able to telescope up and down easier. You literally have to bolt it through, which doesn't give you must vertical adjustment and with a recliner, this is bad. I use this only to hold my laptop and I have a separate laptop desk for my lap that I use a wireless keyboard on because of this. It's not usable on a recliner as a laptop desk alone as I'd have to be reaching up to type on it and that would kill the ergonomic vibe! LOL. The tilt is not very strong either. It doesn't grip like it should. So... On the right track, just needs some polish.

I bought this as a way to have an end table but not sacrifice space. It works great. Easily adjustable and smooth operation. Easy to set up a laptop or just eat a bowl of ice cream. To finish it off I added a clip on cup holder and I must say I am very happy with the final result.

Watch the video to see what I'm talking about. Some of the bolts don't fit flush, which feels like a design flaw. It does feel sturdy, it's solid. Feels heavy and i like that. I would like the actual desk part to be able to tilt in a different direction. It tilts length wise and that loses a lot of surface area for a mouse to go next to the laptop. Not sure if I'm going to keep. It's still closer to what I want compared to other things out there. But I lacks a lot in flexibility and intuitiveness in the design.

It does everything that it's supposed to do, I had to modify it a little bit with the existing one that I had because I got a new chair that's taller. The arm on top belongs to the old one I had, but I had to interchange them because the diameter of the base Pole are different on each one. I needed one that was taller for this chair, my old chair was shorter, but with some tools which I have plenty of, and some ingenuity it worked perfect, so I'm satisfied. Be aware, if you're using the platform that comes with this product it has no lip on any edge so if you're using it in the tilt position anything you put on it will slide off the edge so I used my old one instead so I can put my keyboard on it. The product itself is of a superior build quality, it is heavy duty steel, it's not cheap and it's going to last for quite some time I imagine, I recommend.

I have purchased many recliner tables in order to be able to easily work on my laptop while sitting on my recliner sectional. Most were not sturdy and were extremely unsightly. Then I saw this one and thought it would be perfect. Boy was I wrong. It was not stable at all, constantly moved anytime I reclined my seat, and would bend severely when I put my laptop on it. The worst part is that the table portion can pivot down if you put too much pressure on the left side. My guess is this feature is to make it easy to fold and store away, but with no way to secure the table to remain straight and flat at all times, it is a huge risk for anything that your put on it. This safety issue because very clear two nights ago when my 2yr old tried to type on my laptop causing the table to fold down. My laptop fell, my daughter fell. My laptop fell on my toes fracturing two of them, and worst, cut my daughter's leg and toe. If this table wasn't so flimsy and had a way to secure the table in place so that it cannot fold down, it would be much better. I am so upset by this design. It is going out to the trash today.

I wish the table was about 3 inches longer but it's really good. Everything is sturdy except maybe the clamp piece that supports the table. That seems like a standard item that goes on a big tripod though so probably can get a replacement through a photography supply if necessary. I've been looking for a table like this for 4+ years, which is why I'm giving it 5 stars. I'd give it 4 stars for the plastic clamp plus the short table if there was something to compare it against. Super sturdy. Not too terrible to assemble as as the table arm was pre-assembled. Have your own allen wrenches and screwdriver ready as the supplied ones are a bit small.

trying to get it to fit under a recliner. Wont work there. Tried it under my couch, same sloppy fit. Wont stay in place. The support lock already tore the cloth on the armrest of the recliner. Surface is extremely slippery so had to put non-skid cover on it. I have finally given up. I'd return it if i could, but too late.

Quality material. It tips side to side not front to back so it ends up not being an issue. Very impressed with the quality and robustness.

Good solid table with excellent rigidity and stability. I do wish it has an extra swivel, so I can read books without looking down, but otherwise, solid, sturdy, heavy quality, that easy enough to fold away and tucked it to the side of the chair, and extra swivel could have helped it be more flush. Works great with my ikea poang chair.

Very fast delivery by Amazon. The workstation table works great and was of high quality build standard. Easy to assemble and very stable table. For some wider recliners the table platform base extensions may not be long enough to allow the stand to clear the sides of the recliner and still fit under the recliner feet. Check your measurements before buying.

Easy to assemble and fit should come with a non slip mat because otherwise your stuff will fo flying off
