Just what we were looking for
Our granddaughter has been going to physical therapy for juvenile arthritis and my daughter was looking for something that her daughter could use at home in addition to the PT. Most exercise bikes are too large for children (she is 9 and 4'3" tall). I did a search on Amazon and came across this one. It says it is rated for 4'4" up to 6'3" so I figured if it was too big, my daughter and her husband could use it for now. However, my granddaughter fits perfectly on the smallest settings, and she is able to use this bike without any issues. Once I decided to get this model, I ordered it directly from Caromix via Amazon. It was delivered in a matter of days and the box was in perfect shape on arrival. I uncrated everything and laid out all of the parts. I was pleasantly surprised that all of the nuts, bolts and screws were already in place. We just needed to loosen and remove them and then put them back when adding the parts to the mainframe. It was quite easy to assemble, even though the instructions were a bit difficult to read with the small print. It was so easy, that my granddaughter actually did just about everything, with me telling her where to put the parts and holding them while she attached everything. All the tools were included too. Once assembled, she couldn't wait to try it out. You can see the cardboard, instructions and tools were still out as we literally had just finished with the assembly when I took this picture. Her smile in the picture says it all. She said it was very easy to pedal for her in the easy setting. She was able to use the hand and foot resistant bands also, with no trouble at all. She said this machine is like the ones she uses at physical therapy, so I guess that means it is that good. It folds up to a standing position, with no need to lean it against something once folded. It is not something that a 9 year old can fold up but that is a good thing as it shows how sturdy it is. There are several adjustments that can be made to change the height, angle and tension, so it can be used by the entire family. They now have it in their house and my granddaughter is using it on a regular basis without being told to do so. She said it is so much fun, while giving her the physical therapy that will hopefully help her to get out of pain in the future. The positives I have to sum up are quality construction, ease of assembly, adjustable to different size users, very comfortable seat, adjustable tension, an LCD display monitor that gives a lot of information regarding the workout, very quiet operation, and an unbelievable value for what I paid for it. I have no negatives at all. I highly recommend this Caromix exercise bike.

Caromix Folding Exercise Bike, 5 in 1 Stationary Magnetic Cycling Bicycle : Great Product
I had a total knee replacement and felt this "at home workout" combined with my PT would be beneficial. The Caromix 5 in 1 was affordable and the right size for the space I had. available. The set up with easy and this bike is durable, quiet and has a variety of settings. The only issue I have with this product is the lack of illumination for the programable screen. The settings are small so keep glasses handy. Maybe I missed this installation but it would be a plus to have this digitally illuminated.

Nice for the price
It's a nice bike. Wasn't difficult to put together and I like the resistance options. Compact and the seat has a nice cushion. Not 5 stars because i thought the display didn't work initially but using my own batteries instead of the provided batteries helped. And the seat assembly wobbles a bit. And attaching the foot straps to the petals i can't seem to get

This is a VERY good bike!
Okay, so I have put on almost 200 miles on this thing and I am still impressed! I bought this because I am a fatty, 30 years of driving trucks will do that to you, also I had a heart attack in Sep '23. If I didn't do something about my weight and health, the next one will kill me. I wanted something low impact but still would give me a work out, so a stationary bike was a good idea. After looking around this one had really good reviews and the price was affordable. The 3 positions are all comfortable, but holding the handlebars (heart rate sensors) is just awkward in anything but the top/ highest position. The resistance is really great, I'm running at half right now. I'm not too confident on the calorie counter as I think it's just a math thing. It says I burn the exact same calories on no resistance as I do on maximum. I did a speed run for 1 mile on both settings and the answers were the same. The elastic bands do help, but are too weak for me so I took the foot loop and stretched it up to the seat for more resistance. All, in all it is an excellent starter bicycle!!! I am VERY happy with my purchase!! So, my Cardiac Rehab guy says I need to get my target heart rate (THR) up 30 to 50% higher than my resting heart rate (RHR,) which would be above 105 beats per minute (BPM) and maintain that for at least 10 minutes. It turns out that if I do my ride at the beginning of a workout session, I only hit that mark in the last 5 minutes (usually do 20-25min rides,) which really doesn't help much. If I do light stretching and a bit of weight lifting BEFORE my ride, I can get my THR up to 115-120 BPM and maintain that throughout my ride. Which is much better for my intentions, the weight loss and muscle toning will come in time but it is not my main objective. Also, I would recommend checking the screws every 50 miles or so, the bike developed a clicking in the seat and it had become a little wobbly, it was the screws... Again, I am a fatty, so I am probably stressing it more than normal. Do not over tighten them or you will strip them out, I found out the hard way. If you want to avoid this completely, go get some red Locktite/ Threadlocker from a hardware store and treat each screw as you assemble the bike. The red Locktite is permanent (you CAN bust it loose but it takes considerable effort,) blue is not. I've updated this since my initial review, which was at 100 miles. I now have almost 200 on the bike and she is still a gem! I use it 6 days a week now, but only do 15 minutes a day at the end of my exercise routine as a cool-down phase. My main cardio machine now is a vertical climber, which is a butt-kicker, but I still love my bike!!! I hope this helps. Update: 12 June 2025 Okay, so I just rolled over 1500 miles on this bicycle. She's still holding up, no failures yet! I did have to retighten a few screws and bolts, but this is a wonderful bicycle!!

Great Bike For the Price
So easy to assemble. Directions are fine but it’s pretty self explanatory. It’ll hold your phone, but honestly I’d either get a holder that attaches to the handle. It’s sturdy. It won’t wobble while you’re peddling. I only have a couple issues but they’re minor. The resistance bands are either to easy or you can’t pull them. Also the resistance for the bike its self is not a lot until it is. You will go from easy all the way to the last two notches, until all of a sudden it’s extremely hard to move. Overall it’s a great product and for 100 dollars it’s a great product for the price. I would give it 4/5 if not for what you’re getting for the price.
