Our clock hands are glossy, it is great for clock creations and repairs.

How many clocks can this kit repair?

UP TO 7 — depending on your needs and preferences. If you have the right assortment of thin, medium and thick clock faces that match the included variety of motors (probably unlikely unless you are really lucky) then you can use all 7 motors. Also, while there is a pretty good variety of clock “hands”, you may not like them all or they may be too big or too small to be appropriate for whatever clock you may be repairing. FYI, I haven’t been able to re-use any of the “old, existing” clock minute and hour hands on clocks I have repaired with this kit, even though I have been able to do that in the past with a different brand of clock motor. So either there is no universal standard size for attaching clock hands to motors, or this kit is decidedly non-standard — which might explain why it is so inexpensive. In any event, the two clocks I have repaired so far have more than justified the cost of the kit.

Can I order with all seven with the 0.47 inch sahft length?

It comes with different shaft lengths. You might search for the length you need and find a mutipack.

Is the clock movement silent?

This set of movements is a sweeping second movement that can be kept quiet in life.

Exactly what I needed at a fair price

I only needed one, but the price was great to get the package to have them on hand. Just be sure to follow directions, I had to take it apart because I didn’t - yet it was my first time replacing one. Simple and works great well, it will next time since I read the instructions!

Good little movements

I added a clock to an old end table, the face is not protected. We somehow bent the sweep hand (they are very light and thin, but they need to be). Clock chuggs along. We knocked the sweep off, clock still works fine. Pushed the sweep hand back on, clock is still fine. Keeps good time, very impressed. Excellent value.Does require care to install, but I would think that is to be expected.
