Perfect for seasoning Japanese sushi rice. Delicious with a bowl of rice and a raw egg yolk on top, finished with this seasoning

The best flavour, shame it's so expensive
It's the egg flavoured one, it doesn't taste eggy but there's some saltiness to it, I dont know how to fully describe the taste but it's definitely not fishy. Some people say it's too salty but I'll eat this straight out the jar about a half teaspoon at a time. If I'm having this with just rice I could easily use about 1/5 or more (I like to mix it in) on a bowl of probably around 3/4 of a cup of rice (about that much when it's uncooked). Having said all that £10 for maybe 5 bowls of joy seems very pricey but I guess if your only using it as a sprinkled topping like people do on their cooking pictures then it will probably last longer. I'm getting emotional remembering how good it was.
