Gorgeous Blade
This blade is very sexy...the button is very accessible to release the blade.

Budget minded karambit
All in all, this is a decidedly budget feeling karambit with a price point a bit higher than I'd expect given it's function, design and feel in the hand.Upon arrival, the whole package has an oddly minimal feel. Just a simple unbranded black box, no information or spec sheet included and a just the knife itself inside, which too is also unbranded without any markings on the blade or handle. This is a larger and more substantial feeling folding karambit; solid metal handle and mildly assisted opening via a small button near the bottom ring area. It has a fairly stout and tight pocket clip as well. The clip cannot be moved or mounted on the opposite side of the handle, but thankfully default is tip up oriented in your pocket. The blade can only be opened and closed via the button lock, which is a bit cumbersome. The opening on the blade would suggest it could be flipped open, however that is not the case, sadly. The blade sports an angular style, sharp out of the box with the tip decently pointy as is. Sharpening by hand will likely be a challenge with this design, but that's another problem for another day. 🤷♂️The all metal handle has a weighty feel to it. Texture is a bit lacking, and it could use some jimping so the ergonomics aren't great but it's large enough to get a good grip. I did find the ring to be a bit on the smaller side, though. My smaller medium sized hands found it just barely large enough to clear, especially with my pointer finger. Larger hands may struggle.I must say I'm not a huge fan of button lock, definitely a bit awkward to get used to and you really need to apply even pressure over the entirety of it to engage; pressing on just the corner doesn't quite allow for it to flip open.I think in reality this one is probably more a 3.5/5. The steel is decent for the lower price but the ergonomics aren't necessarily my cup of tea, which is a bit disappointing for the price. It's not terrible, per say, just not a lot to differentiate it from similar $20-$30 offerings.

average
This is a review for MASALONG kni258 Eagle Outdoor EDC folding knife 8CR14MOV blade, Tactical Everyday Carry Folding Pocket Knife all-metal tactical clawI've been on a knife binge lately, and just getting a bunch that I figure I would like. I will be honest though, that this is not one of them. The quality of the knife is ok, nothing really special here, but for 50 bucks, I expect a bit more. The overall feel of this knife is underwhelming, and feels cheap. The knife opens and closes easy enough, but the button is in an awkward position, and cannot be opened with your thumb while opening the knife one handed in any useful fashion. The button that opens the knife is also a bit "squishy", and not very crisp. Also, I am not sure about the legality of this knife in some jurisdictions, as pressing the button automatically opens the blade. So you may want to check your area for any applicable laws.Overall, the knife looks cool, but doesn't feel quality, and I guess for 50 bucks you can't expect too much, but during my knife binge, I have been getting much better for the same or less.

Very Nice Tactical Karambit Knife
I really like this knife. It seems a bit unique to me to have a "switch-blade" karambit knife, but this works that way. It takes some getting used to as you have hold the knife in a position that seems backwards at first in order to press the button to flip out the blade. However, after getting used to it, I think it is versatile and fun to use. It being a folding knife with a clip allows for easy carry. Very nice!

WATCH OUT !!!
THIS IS A NICE KNIFE BUT ITS KIND OF DANGEROUS. THE CURVE IS A BIT MUCH FOR ME. BEST CLOSE IT WITH TWO HANDS AS DIRECTED. OR YOU WON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT YOUR OTHER ONE. I LIKE THAT IT IS VERY SHARP. I DON'T LIKE THE SWITCH BECAUSE ITS SOME TIMIE. GREAT TO USE FOR SPOT ON TASKS. NOT FOR USE IF YOU NEED IT QUICK. BECAUSE THAT MAY BE THE TIME THE SWITCH WON'T OPEN. ALSO CLOSING IT IS SCARY FOR ME. TO MUCH WORK HAVING TO AVOID THE SHARP CURVE. IF YOU ARE SHAKIE THIS IS NOT THE KNIFE FOR YOU. IT DOES HAVE A CLIP FOR YOUR BELT. FANCY KNIFE JUST NOT FOR ME.

Good Looking Knife, Quality Could be Better
This is an impressive looking knife. However when I took mine out of the box, a couple of the screws fell out. Granted I just put them back in and tightened them up and I was good to go. However this should not happen with a brand new blade. Other than that the blade itself is of quality steel, and the handle is of quality material as well. Push button release flips the blade out quickly for use. And just as easily stows away. It is comfortable to hold in the hand and there are no sharp edges to get you while you are using it. Over all not a bad knife, just need to tighten up on the quality control a bit.

Not practical... but it is cool
Totally ordered this because of a video game, but it's awesome for box cutting at work. The blade is spring loaded and will flick out with the press of a button. The blade is somewhat sharp upon arrival. I wouldn't recommend this for "tactical" use or really anything other than cutting tape, packages, or plastic banding. Do not get this to defend yourself unless you're trained to use a knife like this.
