There is something gratifying about polishing and waxing your car by hand. The polish is easy to apply with a sponge applicator and remove with a microfiber cloth. This will remove light scratches and swirls. I applied this to a 1982 BMW 633 Csi with the original single stage paint which means there's no clearcoat. The car is not garaged and is exposed to all the elements. It's important to wash, clay bar, iron decon, and IPA prep prior to applying the polish. The Turtle Wax Iron Remover also worked well during the preparation especially since there's no rotten egg smell. I let the paint cure for 24 hours before applying the Hybrid Solutions Black Spray Wax. The results were amazing on 41 year old paint in decent condition. Finally, I used Technician's Choice 582 detail spray as a sealer because I bought a gallon from Amazon. While I have a DA polisher I wanted to see how this product worked by applying by hand. If you own a black car, this is a no brainer. I am totally satisfied with Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions for black cars.

Works great. Worth the money for sure. Takes a little time to apply but gives it a nice gloss!

Formulated for black cars. This black polish, in my case, adds depth to the 23 year old finish and does hide some of the chips in the existing paint. It won't coverup any significant scratch but does help to blend in small areas and remove some of the swirls in the paint. It's creamy out of the bottle and you'll need gloves to apply as it will stain your fingers. It is not a buffing compound, just polish but you can put it on with a rotary or DA polisher.

Works well on my black van. Great shine. Wear gloves, it will stain your hands. Used it on my Wife’s dark gray car too and worked fine.

I bought a 6yr old black SUV. Though it was in decent shape had a lot of swirls and was keyed up with scratches. They are not gone but they are well disguised and surrounded with shine. Color really pops now. Bought another black turtle wax polish that I didn't like. Will stick with this one.

This thing is awesome. Idk what's in this stuff but it definitely brought my cars paint back to life. I have an Acura TL and the previous owner used some harsh chemical like an idiot and ruined the clear coat as you can see in the picture. I wasnt expecting much so I just did the hood by hand and WOW look at the freaking difference!!! It's insane. I imagine with a buffer it's going to look a lot better so I'll have to do the rest of my car with the buffer. Even if this only lasts a couple months it's definitely still worth it I'll update if anything changes.

Kind of snake oil product, doesn’t do anything that any other polish will do, in fact others will work better, although I do love turtle wax, to me the my are BY FAR THE BEST BUDGET DETAILING BRAND AND ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE, this one though I don’t believe is really worth all the hassle and work you must do to even apply this properly.

Cover a great deal of my scrape. Solid color, easy to use. Good price. Good product for surface scratches. Easy to use and remove once dry

Polished my wife’s Ionic 5 today and WOW does it look awesome now ! It does take a bit elbow grease to get it done well, but the end result is fantastic ! Wiping it with a damp microfiber towel when you’re done is key for the best results !
