I bought this vest specifically for biking around my town. I chose this vest specifically since it has 4 pockets on the front to hold items as I ride. The zipper is sturdy, which I appreciate. It's been durable through a lot of washings, too. Definitely recommended.

I like it. It’s light. The only issue is the breast pocket. It’s not big enough for iPhones. Maybe the old flip phones but not iPhones.

I’m pleased with the vest. I needed one with pockets large enough to hold an iPad mini. I couldn’t find any information about the size of the pockets, so I am providing them here in case anyone needs that info.The large pockets on the bottom of the vest are 7.5 inches tall by 6.5 inches wide. I can fit the iPad in the pocket, but I can’t quite close the flap. With a little ingenuity, I can rig something up to fasten that flap.The upper right pocket will hold 4 pens or pencils. There is a bonus pocket behind the pens slots that will hold a small notepad, etc.The vest is made out of a mesh material, including the pockets, which I was looking for. Other vests I’ve seen use a solid material for the pockets, but in my case, I prefer the mesh. I want as much airflow as possible.I also prefer the zipper, which this vest has, as opposed to the Velcro found on other vests. Velcro tends to snag your shirt (if it is a cotton polo shirt).See photos for measurements.The vest I ordered is a size large.If this vest had a couple of secure pockets on the inside, then it would be a solid 5 star vest for me. I think the price is quite reasonable for this well made vest.

Great functionality. The sizes run small. Consider a size larger if you are suffering from enlarged mid-section. Fairly well made. Pockets are a little too high up to be comfortably accessed, and only one smallish Velcro closure on each of the two. Hanger loops for safety lights or Cyalume sticks. Reflectivity is great! Zipper seems to be fairly high quality.

As a Traffic Control Operator, use of these types of Vests is all but an outright requirement, and it looks good, feels good, and does what it is supposed to. The zipper line is good, and makes the vest feel secure to your body. Although on a hot day, you ARE going to unzip it because it compresses whatever clothing you have underneath. The coloration is such that people WILL see you in it, despite many of them trying to ignore you. In colder months, it does a good job of helping to keep you warmer, and the weight is not bad.About my only gripes is that the velcro strips on the pockets is far too small, and hard to put back together and catches on everything... and some of the stitching feels sub-par, like where you're supposed to put your Card, it's already ripped.
