Great value for the size! The price was awesome! It was a birthday gift and he loves it! It was easy to setup, had great detail, was durable and overall just a really fun toy for the price! Highly recommend getting it if it's still on sale!

I was shocked to find this Matchbox truck toy with regular sized matchbox vehicles included. This is, also, a good YAchildren toy to use as at home therapy toy, for needs of some kids

Our 4 year-old son LOVES this transforming excavator. I wish we had gotten it a couple years ago, because I think he would’ve gotten a lot of play out of it even at age 2. Whoever designed this was brilliant, there are so many cool moving parts & storage for the small pieces (dump truck, boulders, traffic cone/sign). They really thought about the “storyline” of play, from drilling the rocks to dumping them at the end. It’s well-made & is withstanding his rough play. What a steal for hours & hours of play; we’ve bought much pricier toys that don’t get a fraction of the fun imaginative play he’s had with this!

Grandkids love it. I’m surprised at the quality for the price. Lots to entertain them.

I bought this for my vehicle crazy 2 year old grandson, and it's the first toy he runs to when he comes to our house. He's fascinated by the excavator arm and picks up the two little rocks (they look like popcorn covered with plastic) and puts them in the hopper for a long time. It has a tiny dump truck that will hold the two "rocks" that he drives round and carries with him to play with at adult gatherings. I love that everything in this set stows away neatly, so even though it has a lot of parts, they're easy to keep track off.An adult needs to put the stickers on the appropriate locations. It has all the things associated with construction trucks: traffic cones and signs, signal lights on the back of the truck, etc:I think that picking up the rocks with the claw and then putting them in the hopper is a little difficult for young children, because it requires some focus and concentration, but it's probably good for developing fine motor control. If your child struggles with these things, unless he's very interested in machines, this might be frustrating to use.It's also a good way for children to learn to put away their tools, since verything stows nicely in the one big truck. I'd say this was a hit.
