My horse had laminitis prior to my buying her (I didn't know) last year she had a bout early on spring grass, I got her out of it by limiting grass. This year she came up lame in May, I decided to "help her" by getting Heiro for her. It is now almost September & she is still lame (on Heiro since May) her hooves look AWFUL & she is not sound. When I contacted Heiro, they tell me this product is step 1 of a 4 step process. (the other steps involve buying more products / supplements) Their ads should tell you that BEFORE you get into it. The Information packet included is 1 page telling you how great it is, no real guidelines. I am very dissatisfied with this product,

I had my doubts, believe me. I have 2 ponies who have chronic laminitis and have foundered a couple of timesaver the past 10 years. They have been taken off grass completely and are miserable. Scared to death, I decided to carefully start them on Heiro hoping that maybe I could let them out for a half hour everyday. After 3 months I gave it a shot and they did great. After a few weeks I increased their time in the pasture to an hour and kept it there. One night, they escaped the paddock area and I woke up to find them grazing their brains out in the big field and I freaked out! Nothing happened! They were fine! Needless to say, I don't push my luck and turn them out all day, but they are out for 3-4 hours everyday and they're sooo happy! This product works! I recommend introducing them back on grass slowly - just to be sensible. :)

My beautiful Morgan mare foundered due to a bad shot which triggered an IR condition. I was desperate to find a way to prevent this every again. I read everything I could and thought I'd give Heiro a try. It worked! With Heiro and a careful diet with a low NSC, and only snacks of peanuts, I was able to keep my precious mare sound for an additional 7 years. The day she squealed and and ran in pasture was a joy to behold. She was my driving horse and up until the last year, she was driven regularly. I now use it on my Hackney pony and two quarter horses who, even with careful diets, tend to hold onto fat. The pony went on it when the farrier said he saw separation in the feet. His feet are now back to normal. Heiro also acts as a detox agent. I've used it on rescue horses to make sure they get every care I can give.

Amazing product!!!! It is greatly increased the quality of my overweight donkeys feet, as well as Help dissolve a significant amount of his Cresty neck and fatty deposits along his side. Overall he is down a significant amount of weight and is not foot sore at all.My donkey suffers from chronic abscesses but since starting him on this product about two months ago, regardless of all the rain we’ve had, he has not came up lame even once.My vet is very happy with the results and encouraged me to keep my donkey on this product as well as his thyroid medication for life!

Have used Heiro for going on 2 years. My IR mare has completely recovered from laminitis and we have had no setbacks. She looks shiny and wonderful. Our mini foundered a few weeks ago and he is now also on it. Totally impressed with the product. Two of my horses can never be in a grassy field. They can’t handle the sugars. Heiro keeps them healthy and the expense is much less than emergency vet care for laminitis. I love this product!

I tried this product (with fingers crossed) based on the advertising in my national-based horse magazines. I have only fed it for a month so not sure of the results yet. I have a Welsh Cob & a miniature mare who are aged and have had laminitis issues in the past. The product has a wonderful smell and they eat it readily. I mix it with a touch of "Healthy Coat" so it stays with the morning grain, not in the bottom of the bucket. With the pastures coming on, I have not noticed an appreciable weight gain, which is one area I was hoping for. Will keep you all posted.

My rescue Mustang mare was obese, cresty necked and tender footed. She also had a tendency to abscess every month or two in her hind hooves and had a very dull coat. I started using Heiro t seven months ago along with her diet. she hasn't had an abscess in three months and her coat is shiny. She can also now go out to pasture. I would highly recommend Heiro.

This worked GREAT for my TWH mare. She is Insulin resistant and we have been very careful with her feed / hay for several years. However in January she developed server laminits.. I was at the point of having her out down when a friend suggested HEIRO. I was leary of it actually working but thought I'd give a try . Within 7 days I could see an improvement. With in about 2 weeks she was walking much, much better. Now after 3 months she is totally back to normal.
