Rege-Jean Page.....
I bought this for my wife who is obsessed with Rege-Jean Page. Needless to say, she was excited to receive her favorite D&D character from the movie on her birthday this year. All kidding aside, he's very movie accurate and the attention to detail is remarkable. The face sculpt looks just like Mr. Page and it reminds me of how detailed the McFarland line of toys has been over the years. Overall, if you liked the D&D Movie and Rege-Jean, then you will certainly enjoy this figure.

Xenk the Palladin figure
What fun to have a figure of Xenk my favorite from the movie. Nicely made and it includes the sword.

Paladin needs rocker ankles badly
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves Xenk is good but a mixed bag, the sculpt and paint are decent, the sword and cloak both nicely done, but he's hard to pose due to a lack of rocker ankles, and could use weathering on the paint. And like the other movie figures, Xenk is a true 1:12 figure so in scale with Star Wars Black Series, small next to Marvel Legends or GI Joe Classified.Initially, I was going to give this figure a 3/5 since out of the box it seemed very lifeless and static, had less accessories, and those feet really bothered me. After trying out the joints, it became clear the figure just needs a little posing to add life, and it is easier to see it has decent sculpting and paint, some good articulation, and looks great holding his sword. All the Hasbro D&D: Honor Among Thieves movie figures have weird design choices, but Xenk's lack of rocker ankle articulation is the single most baffling one - without that articulation, posing him is a significant challenge as his feet can't stay flat on the ground. His shoulder armor and skirt are a bit flexible but still somewhat restrictive.Other than the feet, articulation is pretty good with a ball-jointed neck, butterfly shoulders, swivel bicep, pinless double elbows, rotation and vertical-hinge wrists, limited ball-jointed lower torso, ball-jointed hips, swivel thighs, pinless double knees, then those annoying swivel and vertical-hinge ankles that feel so dated.Xenk's design is on par with the other movie figures: a tad lifeless in the face but gets the idea across, the body has a lot of nice detail but not much fine sculpting to fabrics, and a need of weathering paint to bring down the brighter elements. Our paladin has some nice paint work here and there, even silver inside the butterfly shoulders to continue the chest armor, silver chain mail on the skirt. All of it's mainstream toy levels of paint so it's not perfect and not intricate, but it's good for what it is.His only accessories are his sword and his removable cloak, which is less than most figures in the line. The sword has nice detail and paint, and fits in the overly-thick scabbard; he can wield it two-handed but the grip a bit short so the pommel ends up in the second hand's palm. The cloak fits via peg very securely and has ample brown paint over its mustard plastic so the edge details get their goldish color.

Not a lot of bang for your buck
I have three of these figures so far. They are all very petite looking. All of them are very straight, are difficult to get to stand up, or stand in a normal stance well and have very stiff joints. If you force the joints without loosing them in boiling water, they could definitely break. The colors are anemic looking and don't look as good as the pictures on the package/website. For comparison, all of these figures are only slightly little larger than the ladies from the G.I. Joe Classified Series, also from Hasbro - quite smallish, that is. The packaging is fabulous. If you buy the figure with low expectations, looking at it as a small plastic statue then you may be pleased, but I wouldn't call it an "action figure." The price tag is pretty high for what you receive.
