Works as descibed
It is as listed. I don't think I'll ever be able to use it, but my husband can

Made use of previously un-useable space
This was the perfect inexpensive DIY solution for putting a 10' folding table and a tall step ladder, which are seldom used, up out of the way in our garage. Easy to install and to use.

Easy to install - good instructions
I put a big ladder up there, and love that it has a brake at the top, so it's very unlikely to drop. But, disengaging the brake requires pulling directly down from a position below (or only a few degrees off from) the brake. This is tough for me because the ladder is wide. This is the only issue, but certainly impacts what you can put up there.

This product works great, as advertised!
I used this to free up wall space from extension ladders.

Junk
Lasted just about a month before the rope failed, dropped cargo to floor which is now broken too! Luckily no one was underneath it when it fell. Do not recommend unless you're gunning for a lawsuit from being smashed

Easy install
It is sturdy enough to hold 2 ladders. A 28' and 17' little giant ladder.

SO DANGEROUS. Watch this video.
The media could not be loaded. This worked fine for about five years, then one day, my ladder (which it was supporting) just FELL out of the blue. I couldn't imagine that was what happened, so I watched my security footage... yes, the ladder just fell, with the garage closed, nobody in the garage, nobody touching it.Inspecting it, the very thin nylon webbing had become weakened and torn. I took the rest of the webbing, and it had deteriorated so much that it could easily be torn WITH MY FINGERS. I like so much about this, but wow... I've never had any webbing deteriorate like that. My garage is well ventilated and never gets hot, so I'm really not sure what made this cheap webbing degrade like that.If you do buy this, at the least buy quality tubular webbing to replace the factory webbing.
