It works amazing

I am extremely prone to motion sickness but Gravol has always worked great for me when taken proactively. Thebonly reason I removed a star on this variety is that, while effective, I discovered I prefer the regular tablet kind over these gel caps for a number of reasons. Firstly the tablets are smaller and, I think, easier to swallow. Secondly the tablets can be easily split into smaller pieces, so they can be taken by smaller children. Lastly, the regular pills are cheaper and a better value. Unless you specifically prefer gel caps, I would pass on these in favor of the regular tablets. You get the same effectiveness and more for your money. Still, these work great! I take two at least 30 minutes before starting any activity that I worry might set my stomach off (flights, rough car trips, theme parks). Great brand and reliable.

If you take one at bedtime the next day is great, I was on a boat deep sea fishing.

I get crazy bad motion sickness on about every common mode of transportation. It's so bad that it effects whether or not I go on long car rides and trips. When I saw the Gravol Motion Sickness Prevention and Relief SoftGels I went ahead and ordered even though they contain dimenhydrinate. My go to motion sickness medication contains meclizine because it does help prevent motion sickness but sometimes it's not strong enough. The Grabol with dimenhydrinate causes adverse effects such as drowsiness more frequently than meclizine but for me it seems to work better in certain instances like where I am riding in a car on the hilly winding roads to Lake of the Ozark's. I took the Grabol SoftGels and we didn't have to pull over so I could throw up which made me very happy. The downside was I did fall asleep for 30 minutes but I will take the nap over feeling sick to start my trip. Overall, the Gravol SoftGels work exactly as I expected and I will order them again.
