HavaianasWomen's Flip Flop Sandals, Top Metallic

I can't believe I just found these amazing flip flops! I have a high arch and a chubby foot so I bought the regular model, not the slim. Fits perfectly. I read the reviews about the BR sizing, very helpful. In sandals I wear a Euro 39 or US 8 [Merrells], though 9 or 9.5 in boots or running shoes. I ordered the 39/40 BR9/10. Perfect! I love the comfort of the footbed and this model has a 3/4 in heel which works great with my high arches. I am used to wearing thong sandals so this model is extremely comfortable. I am taking them on a trip to Mongolia where we will stay in Gers and use central shower facilities, so flip flops are necessary. But, this model is attractive as well so I will not hesitate to wear them w/long skirt in larger cities on our travels. I will buy more of these in other colors!

I ordered these in rose gold and so happy that I did. I would say these are really more like a rosey taupe color (if you are into eye shadows that description may make more sense) than the rose gold of jewelry or watches. However, I kind of expected that from the photo and the color does look in person just like the photo here. Other than that there is not much to add. Comfortable and reliable Havianas quality. One word on the sizing since I have seen conflicting information of too large/just right in other reviews - I normally wear 6.5/7 and found the size 35/5-6 to fit me so perfectly that there was zero extra room. The size 37/7-8 is definitely longer/wider if you are a true 6.5/7. That said I went with the size 37 as I don't think it's too bad and like the more comfortable, somewhat loose feel.

I grew up in Hawaii so I like to think of myself as someone who knows slippers. What we call slippers are of course flip flops. These are awesome. I have what my children like to call Flintstone feet, flat & fat. These are very comfortable and can accommodate my width nicely. I normally wear a 10, but in these I ordered them in the 9/10, because I like mine to fit perfect. Not to long, but my heel right on the edge, not hangover but right to the tip. I love these so much. I wish I could find the blue metallic. These are a great buy for $20. I'm on my 3 pair in 6 years. Always this beautiful silver that goes with everything. What can I say -- Havaianas ROCK!!''''

These are perfect for any college student living in a dorm, and I guess generally for everyone wearing flip flops. They are textured on both sides so 1) it is harder to slip with these and 2) the textured inside makes them a dream to walk in because I feel like I'm getting a small massage on my feet. These are also a bit taller than other flipflops that I have owned before and I am not sure if it's because of that that I find them even more comfy. I have extremely flat feet, and while I don't use these for long walks or anything I am surprise these do not tire or make my feet hurt after a while like most flat shoes do.

The burning question: are Havaianas worth the price? Absolutely! They may be pricier than a discount store flip flop but all is not equal. They are sturdy, built for use, and super comfortable. There is a short break in period, so don't expect to do tons of walking on the first day. Once they are broken in, they are a dream. I never get clauses, blisters between my toes, and the sole part is just the right mix of plush and sturdy. They are so comfortable that when an airline misplaced my bag, and they were the only shoes I had, I wore then all around Venice (walking on stone) during an Italian walking tour! I've put these sandals through the paces, and they hold up really well.

Just received. I ordered two pairs of Havaianas. The Metallic (Rose Gold...so cute), and a pair of standard red ones. I normally wear a size 8.5 in closed shoes, and a 8 in sandles. sometimes I will order up 1/2 size if narrow, since I have a wider foot.I ordered both pairs in 39, which is stated as a 9-10US. The 39 fit perfect in these, and a little bigger (but manageable) in the red ones. They are super comfy, and I love the neutral color and it compliments my skin tone (pale, blond and light features). These are fantastic flipflops, and the slightly higher price than cheap flipflops are worth it. I just ordered a second pair of the metallic ones in a 39

I will preface this review with the fact that I have been wearing Havaiana's for nearly 10 years, so I obviously love them. I still actually have a pair from AU from 8 years ago which I always wear in the gym shower & pool, and they are still going strong.The newer models though do not seem to have much life in them after about 6 months. If you get them wet, they tend to give out pretty soon after (like I say, my old pair only get worn in the wet and are still fine!).So, with that saidI loved the color of this pair, they fit great and so far are still in decent shape though have gotten wet twice :-(At least buying on amazon, they are half the price of the stores, so if they last half as long as the old ones, it's not so bad!

I ordered 3 pairs. I wear a 8 1/2, I ordered the 39/40, based on the size chart it is a size 9/10 US women's. When I received them I tried them on and they were a little small. I checked the size on them and they all were a 39/40 but a 7/8 US. I called Havianna and was told the Brazil size 39/40 is the Men's size which is a women's size 7/8. I ordered silver, gold and blk/slvr. If you go on their website they have women's 39/40 is a 9/10. Still not sure how their sizing works.

Nice & good quality

I wear these all the time. I love them. They are so comfortable and good for the feet. The rubber composition is excellent as there is nonoticeable wear showing at all. I would certainly recommend them and will buy several pairs at the same time to make sure I always havea pair ready for me to wear. If they get dirty just pop them into the washing machine and out comes an ultra clean pair. They are great.

Initially sent the wrong size but sent them back in the original packaging and it was sorted straight away. Good quality as you would expect with havi flip flops, hopefully the weather will perk up now :o)

Just what I wanted, but I knew the exact size that I needed as they are a second pair.

I have owned several pairs of Havaianas before and this pair was a lovely colour and fit as expected.
