Like all revision books it is of limited value
Revision books are nearly always useless. The problem is that they present a condensed version of a course which is either useless if you have a complete textbook or have to be a complete copy of a text book. The value of a revision book is in the act of the student creating their own revision book. That said when it comes to english language there a remarkably few textbooks so you may find that your only option if you want a single point reference for the course content is to look at a revision guide. In that context this does its job well but it remains a poor substitute for a good teacher or textbook.
