Can you fold fireguard down when not in use

you probably could but it's got metal clips to hold it in place and don't know how many times they would stand being undone and done up again

is this assembled with clips or screws

Both clips and screws. Very easy to assemble. Need to drill holes in wall for extra stability but this is only necessary for very small children in a nursery

The width is extendable but what is the size of the 2 return ends? I'm looking at fitting it around a 30cm by 100cm by 30cm fire place as snug as poss

The side returns are about 430mm and the top is 260mm

Well priced and does the job

Used for dog guard

I purchased this to put at the bottom of the stairs to stop the dog running up them as is still a pup and couldn’t get back down once up. Fits easy enough

Full protection

Guard was easy put together and guard itself was a good quality. It would have been 5 stars but the clips that hold the 2 half’s of the guard were a bit flimsy and the screw heads were not bit enough as they were able to fit through the hole in the bracket it also would have been nice if they were black the same as the guard instead of silver.
