My dog was bringing chiggers into our house every day from our own backyard for months, despite our best efforts to control them. (Good news, we did finally kill them.) This stick was a life saver because I literally had hundreds of bites over time. I lost count after 200. Chigger bites are the itchiest, most intense bites I’ve felt in my entire life. So trust me when I say I tried everything.When I used this stick on a fresh bite, it burned / tingled in a way that felt amazing and took the itch away quickly. Combined with hydrocortisone cream or chiggerx cream right after, I wouldn’t have to think about that bite again. The stick stopped the bites from getting worse and itching relentlessly. From what I understand, the heat destroys whatever makes you so itchy. On bites that I didn’t use the stick, I noticed a huge difference.I haven’t even needed to charge this stick. It’s small and battery life is great. Easy to take with you if you were traveling. It looks like a vape, so keep that in mind. It has two heat settings. I always use high because I love the feeling, but you can use low if it’s too strong.One last note, I would use the stick multiple times on the same bite. Use with caution because you don’t want to actually burn yourself. But I usually did it 3-4 times until I felt that good burny tingly feeling stop. That was an indication to me that I killed off everything in the bite, but I don’t know if that actually means anything. Don’t go overboard with it. But yeah, I love this thing. I use it to stop itching any bug bite and it’s amazing.

My dentist of all ppl recommended this when I had a visit and she saw my legs chewed up by mosquitoes this summer. Lol. It can get a little hot but just follow directions and wave over bite quickly if needed to tolerate. It works GREAT! On the super itchy ones I’ve had to do it 2-3 times in a row to get relief but after that, NO itch! Works so fast! Kept by my bed as I often wake up itching and scratch my bites half asleep. I used this instead and was able to stop the itch and prevent scars and infection from scratching. I used it for the last couple months of summer. No need right now in December. But we’ll see if still working next summer. Perfect size and great value for the cost! And no sticky or smelly creams, spray or ointment needed! I would HIGHLY recommend giving a try! I get eaten up during the summer and the itching is INTENSE, so if this helped me I’m confident you will love it too!

There's three things that are at play here that I've found wit this.1) It seems to work if you do it within like 5-10 minutes of being bitten2) I can't tell how much of this is placebo3) Sometimes it clearly doesn't workMy observation:I think this works within 10 minutes after being bitten since the poison is still localized enough. Hasn't hit the blood stream. After that 10 minutes, it's basically placebo, and then the itching is back in full force. It definitely feels like it works, since it definitely gets hot, and there's definitely blue lights that do look like other UVC devices I own.I do like its shape and size. So small, so compact with USB C charging. It does legitimately last like forever, so the 400 per charge claim seems more than legit. Charged it once, and haven't charged it since after a year.Only issue is lining up the ceramic plate on top of the bite. I think it should be a tiny cup, so the bite mound latches onto the ceramic plate, which would also increase the plate's surface area, and you pushing down on it would allow for the blue light to make contact with the skin as well. I'm talking about like 1mm Diameter and 0.5mm deep. I recommend it, it's like 50/50 accurate.

These are a great itch stopper. No goo or messy hands. No smell or color that gets on clothes. They work in seconds and relief lasts about as long as any cream or spray. I’ve been pleased with how well they hold their charge, so they’re ready to go when itch strikes. Nice size for pocket, purse, desk drawer, and really nice to have a reusable/rechargeable choice.Comes with a charging cord, but like many items these days, you’ll need to supply your own USB A charging brick.

I experience major swelling, inflammation, burning & intense itch from mosquito bites, which lasts for several days. MOSQUITOES LOVE ME & MY BLOOD TYPE. Topical antihistamines do NOTHING to reduce the inflammation. Oral antihistamines take too long & make me drowsy, not to mention they do not come close to eliminating the long term discomfort. I WAS SKEPTICAL, TO SAY THE LEAST, THIS WOULD HELP.I WAS AMAZED WITH THE RESULT. The sooner you can apply this, after a bite, the better the outcome. I only use the high setting. I carry this with me EVERYWHERE I go during mosquito season, which in Southeast Texas, is about 10 Mos out of the year. DO NOT USE on a bite which you have broken the skin from scratching. To those who complain about the "burn", they obviously do not suffer the same level of reaction from bites as I do or they have a very low tolerance for physical pain. The couple of seconds of very intense heat that the device produces is a drop in the bucket compared to the level & duration of discomfort the bites produce. The device has performed perfectly for months, recharges quickly & has been used hundreds of times since I purchased. I recommend giving it a try if your reactions come anywhere near mirroring mine.
