Amazing little addition for your hex driver!
I could have gone with a 3D printed version, and I debated it. But for the price, you should go with the injection molded version. It feels much more premium and is super sturdy. The magnets are super strong and it installed perfectly onto my hex driver. The rubber surface is also great for holding the random couple screws you need in a pinch. 10/10 would buy again and probably will.

This thing is awesome!
I absolutely love how the colors match the tool perfectly! All the magnets for the retention are very strong and I have seen no issues with anything falling out. I haven't thoroughly tested the outer magnet for screws and such but it seems pretty strong. The only problem I had was the included mounting screw. It seems to be either the wrong length, off by maybe a millimeter, or it's not exactly the right thread. It either bottomed out or bound up and the head snapped off. A perfect fit is 6/32 thread and 1/2 inch in length. Maybe my specific driver had a more shallow hole, I really don't know but with the new screw, works awesome!

Great add on
Awesome bit holder. Only thing I wish was different is that it was sit back further because I use a 2 inch extension with a 1 inch bit and it gets in the way of what I’m screwing especially if it’s a deep item and I use the GEN three M12 impact so only thing I could say is that it gets in the way if you have a real long bit and it goes past to face, the impact in the three bit holders in the back are a little bit weak to drop. I’ve had all 3 one inch bits go flying out of the back other than that. It is an awesome tool and it keeps everything right there in your hand so you’re not carrying around a big bit box. You have everything right there ready to go when you are ready for your day of work I would recommend it to anybody that is looking for the solution like I was.

Decent
I still have it on my drill 2 years later. One magnet fell out. Sometimes bits fall out. Make sure to use locktight on the screw. Overall pretty good product

Great Job
The bit holder was a great fit to my m18 fuel driver the magnets are strong and the bits don't move or get lose from the holder when in use I have been a carpenter for over 40 years and supervisor of construction crews and this is the best I've found for convenience and ease ability to use I would approve this to all, great product.

It’s a pretty nice bit holder.
I originally got it for my M12 drill but I quickly realized that my bits on the side that holds the longer bits protrudes past the adjusting clutch on the drill which gets in the way of adjusting it easily. I’m still able to turn it but it’s just not convenient, so I switched the bit holder to myM12 impact. It works way better on the impact because the adjustments are on the top of the impact driver. I realized I also have a lot more loose bits in my HVAC tool bag which is where I keep my impact so it was a great upgrade to easily access stuff during work. The bit holder feels of pretty good quality I think it’s a fair price to pay. The magnets inside of the holder for the bits are great, not too strong, not too weak, which makes removing of them and also securing them reliable. My only little complaint is that the magnet that holds screws seems a tiny bit weaker than I would like but it does hold them without dropping just doesn’t feel extremely strong. Also, be aware that filling up the bit holder can make the drill/impact more top heavy and takes a little getting used to.

Not well constructed
Magnets that hold bits in will come out with the bits making the bit hole useless. Had one do this so far...hopefully the rest will stay in. Great fit for the impact and solid idea.

Upgrade your drill!
I definitely consider this an upgrade to my impact as well as my hammer drill. I’ve got a combo of this unit on one side then the magnetic bit holder (also from Simon tools) on the other side. Super useful combination, six bits should cover most things I encounter on the one side, then screws and drill bits on the other side (see pic). The plastic construction on the unit is pretty tough with a rubberized magnetic section (magnet is little weak). The rubber magnetic patch will hold a number of loose screws as well. The magnets in the slots are very strong, no worries about tips coming out. I really love not having to grab a box of tips when I need my drill for something. I keep a couple of adapters, Phillips, and a torx bit in there.. maybe a slotted. It’s become one of those tools you can’t imagine not having. Just an extension of the drill. I read where someone wrote that the drill becomes top heavy. I haven’t had that issue myself and I thought I would. The drills having remained fairly balanced. Full disclosure I am using the larger bottom batteries, 3.0 and higher I believe.. that helps balance the drill.I’m a new fan of Simon Tools!
