Fashionary Bag Design: A Handbook for Accessories Designers

This is an excellent book. It has a wealth of information about a all aspects of bag designing. It's very well thought out and easy to navigate. It doesn't go into the entire manufacturing process in detail, but that's probably not why it was written. I found it concise and well thought out. It has extensive information about the tools needed, the components, and terminology with illustrations. As such it's worth every penny, and essential reading if you want to design bags.

Excellent book on making bags.

I love it. It's perfect for somebody like me or more advanced. Currently I am a designer specialising in slightly different area growing an interest in accessories design. This book has it all, the main stuff and a bit more. I am definitely going to buy their other books.

The book is great with so many design ideas for any bag maker. I deducted a star because I bought it as a gift and since it was getting slammed around at some point in the delivery process it arrived with damage to the top of the spine. If it was wrapped properly it might have arrived in undamaged condition in spite of the rough treatment our packages often go through

For a bag making lover it was a lovely gift. Great illustrations and very good to creative minds

This book doesn't show you how to make bags. It is, however, a mine of useful information on how they're designed and constructed.

This book does not show how to make a bag. It is more a collection of ideas for bags and some patterns. It also names and shows the various types of bag. It is EXACTLY what I needed.

Like the book but it doesn’t go into as much detail as I would like for every design feel like theres some information missing

Szczerze mówiąc liczyłem na jakieś szablony. Są, owszzem - dokładnie 6. Niezwymiarowane. 1 szablon - 1 strona. Jeżeli ktoś chciałby uszyć jakąś torbę, to ta książka nie jest dla niego.

Libro di gran qualità, ma mi ha un pochino deluso perché mi aspettavo si soffermasse su più modelli dettagliati pezzo per pezzo... purtroppo ci sono solo sei pattern per i modelli superbasici, per il resto è un ottimo elenco di modelli, terminologie, attrezzature. In compenso una lunga lista di immagini da ogni angolatura di moltissimi modelli, in modo da poter comunque capire da quali pezzi sono composte.

Atendeu bem o que eu precisava para um projeto. Perfeito para quem quer entender mais de forma técnica o mundo das bolsas. Adquiri porque tenho Kindle aunlimited e me serviu bem usando no ipad, melhor do que no próprio kindle. Eu não compraria fisicamenre, ah não ser que precisava sempre.

La pasta es rigida y la Impresion es monocromatica azul. Las ilustraciones son de buena calidad y utiles para tener a la mano referencias. Práctico para quienes somos diseñadores y nos dedicamos al making de accesorios.

I like it. Useful info to identify bag styles that makes searching for them online. Nice tracing pages towards the back that can be useful for sketching up mockups. Does not go into detail with that many sewing patterns so may not be for everyone. Useful links to events and resources and naming of bag hardware. Not disappointed. It fills a gap in my library. A lot of work would have gone into making the book.
