Electric Ceramic Tea Kettle, Boil Water Quickly and Easily, Detachable Swivel Base & Boil Dry Protection, Carefree Auto Shut Off, 1.5 L, White

Bought this kettle almost three years ago and have used it daily. it boils water quickly, consistently, and is adorable on my counter. Cute and practical, i always get compliments on it. i recommend.

Update 11/5: Kettle started burning up— horrible burning smell, and made the whole house smell awful. I contacted the company about this, but they never responded. Don’t buy this kettle! This is beautiful and really gets the water hot. Three issues: 1. The cord is very short. 2. The lid is very difficult to put on and take off. You have to get the little bumps just right in the ridges, and that is not always easy because the one side doesn’t seem to be cut smoothly. 3. The outside of the kettle gets VERY hot! So you can not leave it on the counter after you have boiled the water if you have pets or children. And you can’t put it in the sink to let it cool because of the electrical connection. I put a pot over it until it cools. Also, I have burned myself a few times picking it up. Even though the handle is cool, the body is so, so hot. All said and done, it wasn’t cheap, so I will continue to use it until I need a new one, but I wouldn’t purchase this kettle again, even though it is quite lovely.

This has been on my Christmas List for a while. It was love at first site! I wanted to get away from the plastic electric tea pots that used to be popular year ago, and now there are so many nice options! But this was very English Looking and country cottage but clean looking in white ceramic! It heats up water quikly and shuts itself off automatically after heating to boil in about a minute or so. At first the chemical smell was noted, as I had read others reviews, so I boiled an inaugural batch to steam off any chemical treatment from manufacturing. And now it makes plenty of cups of tea, or hot water for any hot drinks or soups, or instant oats. It is very convenient. Thanks so much for my lovely Tea Pot!

This is the most beautiful Tea Kettle I've ever owned 😍. It is great quality and i love that it doesn't have plastic elements. Is ceramic and metal heating elements. It has the auto shut-off feature, it holds enough water for at least 4 drinks and is easy to pour. I've used it every day for almost a year and it still looks like the first day I bought it. It is definitely worth the money!

Beautiful kettle, loved it, until it quit working. Lasted almost a year. It sat on my counter at all times and was treated great; no user error or mistreatment. Kinda disappointed.

Beautiful in my kitchen I got the white and I love the way it looks. It doesn’t hold a lot of water and the pot gets very hot so don’t touch the sides when you’re pouring and when you pour, it comes out slowly not like the metal electric kettle I had prior to.

UPDATE: I must amend this original review. I got it in July and by October, 3 months later, it was leaking all over the place. It doesn't leak until you turn it on, but then all of the water will leak out of the bottom pretty quickly. I have looked and cannot see anything but obviously something is wrong. My old ugly kettle has lasted years and years and still works - its just ugly. This is so pretty, but crap - can't use it!!!! ORIGINAL REVIEW: We use boiled water a lot - tea, coffee, and I use it to speed up hot water for various recipes. We have a hot water kettle on the counter, plugged in at all times. I have been painting and fixing up the kitchen. I wanted to be rid of that ugly electric water kettle. I love the look of tea pots, but you have to boil water and pour it into the tea pot. This takes that two step process and makes it one - so much more efficient,. Reduces two items to one - less clutter -and it's pretty. The big surprise is that is boils water faster than the old ugly kettle (just as much water).

Less than 6 months old and the bottom is melting. I tried to contact customer support and have received no response.
