Iffy sometimes

I wish my dog hadn’t ate my remotes that came with the television. But she did so I ordered these replacements. However, when pressing the buttons for the cable guide, it’s like the box doesn’t read the remote. The connectivity lags. But it works perfectly for Netflix, Amazon, or any streaming services. Just not the cable box.
