I honestly don't know why I waited so long to buy a hat like this. I live in a region where we get a lot of rain and so this is so perfect to just be able to pack in my bag and put on because it is a little bit more friendly to your hair than just the hood from your jacket and it's actually great for the Sun too. If I have to drive a lot during the summer days, it helps to keep the sun out of my eyes. I love the quality of this and the fabric is super light but also not cheap material so I was really happy with that. It also has a nice feature of a little drawstring that goes under your chins so just in case it happens to be super windy, you can make sure that it doesn't fly off of your head. It will easily fold down into any bag or purse and it's easy to wash as well. You really can't beat the price for this either. Overall I'm super happy with this purchase.

if you have sensitive fair skin and want protection from the sun. These are light weight, foldable and protect you from the sun, all they promise at an amazing price. Well made too. It can be adjusted so not sure why some are saying about size. My husband and I don't like constantly using sunblock so only do it on the nicer days and when it's so hot and miserable anyway, keeping shaded is better and these hats are perfect. Or if you'd just out for a short bit and don't want to put on block for that. We tried many hats either too heavy and bulky or not fullyface shielded or no face shield at all, or the back has a big gaping opening for women with a ponytail which does not fully protect the back of the head. So finally we found the perfect hats for vacation and just to use in general in the hot hot summer and quick dashes outside. Because they aren't super fashionable and we like our magical fashion we put a brooch on the brim, a leaf for him and a witch on broom for me, so that's an idea/thought if you wanna make it look a wee bit more your style.

You will love this hat! I am impressed by it's exceptional design - it fits well and it works well - and also it's stylish appearance. The face covering is great to see through the screen which functions like sunglasses. And it is easy to unsnap one snap to expose the face momentarily for smiles or food and drink. With the face covering up it protects the face from sun, sun glare, and wind completely - with the covering unsnapped by just one snap it looks like a nice scarf around the neck. I am about to order two more of these hats in different colors. I have a question for the maker of the hat: Since more people are becoming increasingly sensitive to sun exposure, do you make this exact hat in a cold weather version out of a warmer fabric? This one is perfect for summer, and many of us might also enjoy one just like it for wintertime too.

The hat arrived appropriately packaged, no damage, no smell and in excellent condition. Ordered this in a navy blue and it is true to color. Fits comfortably on my head. Reason for the four (4) stars is because my hair will often get caught on the velcro. I have shoulder length hair and even when I put my hair back in a pony tail, the velcro will pull my hair out. So I’m very carefully when Im removing the hat. The brim is wide is functions well for blocking the sun. Appreciate that the hat is lightweight and I’m able to throw it into my bag because it folds well.

This cap/hat is very comfortable and the air vents around it help with keeping you cool, yet shaded and protected from the Sun 🌞. It can fold up easily so you can pack it for trips or for storing. The fabric is nice and light weight.. the price was good too. You’ll look like you’re going fishing, but who cares! You can snap the mask up and no one will know who’s under the hat. 😉 I purchased two. One for me and one for my niece to wear on our five mile walks. We both love ❤️ this hat. 👍🏽👍🏽

Bought this hat as sun protection for when we are boating and it has not disappointed! It’s lightweight, folds (or rolls) up easily to keep in my backpack. The wide brim completely protects my face from the sun and the back piece keeps the sun off my neck. I haven’t used the gator (too hot in the summer) but the strap is perfect for cinching if we are moving across the water. I won’t go boating or be outside without it! It’s lightweight but well made and great value for the price. Highly recommend!

I bought this for what looked in the pictures like coverage as good as my longtime-favorite Sunday Afternoons adventure hat with the added detachable face shield. In reality: reasonably okay (especially for the price), but different from the pictures/description in several ways: - The brim is 3.25", not 4" (the brim on my Sunday Afternoons hat is a hair over 4"). - The grey is darker than pictured, not light grey. - The neck cape/back flap is definitely shorter than it looks in the pictures (measures ~9 inches, and is shorter than the back flap on my Sunday Afternoons adventure hat). As for the face shield: The mesh part over the nose obviously has much lower spf than the rest of face shield and hat (mesh is normally not rated for spf), and it tends to slip lower as you walk/move, leaving more of your face exposed (through the mesh and above it) to the sun. Nonetheless, for <$10, not bad.

Excellent sun protection! I wear this on a motor boat. It is snug, but occasionally will blow off at high speeds. It usually stays on much longer than a baseball cap. Besides, it has a draw string so that you won't lose the hat. It protects so well, that I may not use sunscreen. It is light weight and very practical.

Tardó muchísimo en llegar pero vale la pena la espera. Vivimos en un lugar muy soleado y este sombrero ofrece una excelente protección y tiene buena estética.

No compren este producto. Me llego en mal estado con una costura rota, no trae la careta qué mencionan, la tela es de mala calidad y ni siquiera coincidió en el color del sombrero.
