Nothing to complain about. Tough to clean but expected given the hobby. Definitely a great budget. If you can see your tattoo through the other side like you drew on a piece of paper with a sharpie, you're going too deep. Don't be afraid to cut into them and use a micrometer to measure your depth. I'm also a mechanic so micrometers are lying everywhere

These are actually some pretty good skins!! I have not touched a tattoo gun in over 22 years. This is my third practice run since starting back. I wanted to practice on these skins as a cheap startup. My first two turned out just as good. Even with a completely new world of machines “rotary” they are very easy to line, shade and pack on. For this price what do you have to lose???? Give them a try, you might be just as impressed as I was!!

I've practiced on a couple fake skins now, and for ones on the cheaper side I'd definitely recommend these!They're so much better for depth practice and don't have too much trouble with staining, Vaseline takes everything right off. I also love that you can easily use both sides without any visibility or tearing issues.

It's almost too thick to penetrate with the ink and needles. I feel recoil in the skin which is bad. The ink wipes off instantly if I don't go deep enough. The machines struggle if I go too deep. Overall I'd use this for a mat to use other skins on. Lol 😆

Ink don’t wipe off easily, makes a mess all over the skin

I’m loving these, I’m obviously a beginner but these are great. If you allow the stencil to dry for a good 15 minutes, no matter how much you wipe or dab you can still see the stencil. Ink cleans off very well with Vaseline. Great for learning depth control. Big enough to do a solid piece and leave room for patchwork. You can also definitely use both sides no problem. I used up 3 of the 5 and went ahead and ordered more. Great stuff.

pulling one pass lines seems impossible on the skins, I have my machine set at a higher voltage, going slow with my hands still does not yield the desired effect. Even when everything else is set, hand speed, voltage, the skin just doesn't seem to like to be penetrated by the needle.
