Even though I wanted this vitamin very much and it was helping me with energy and focus, for me it didn’t work in the sense that it cost me to have tightness of throat, it was like my throat was swollen inside, and it cost the throat muscle to relax when I was falling asleep, and my snow would wake me up, having many sleepless nights I finally looked for side effects with tightness of throat and yes, it’s one of the side effects, maybe not as common, but it can happen. Just be aware.

For me, I believe this has made a difference in my energy levels.The headline for VHC benfotiamine shows 600mg, but that’s for a two-capsule dose. The medium-sized capsules are actually 300mg each, and I found them to be easily swallowed. I’ve not experienced stomach upset or any other undesired effects, and my bottle expires in a generous 35 months.I like that this product is third-party tested and manufactured in a GMP facility, two things I always look for. It’s also Non-GMO, another plus. However, the current selling price is higher than some similar competing products, so minus one star for value. Four stars overall.
