It’s weird at first because it creates a sepia look and when you flip your visor open, your eyes will see sepia colors for a few minutes. It doesn’t completely cover your face. People will still see you but it’s like a 25 percent window tint. It’s just enough privacy and I love the gold color look. It’s plug and play very easy to pop in and out for an HJC i90 modular helmet. I got this because the metal wire for my black sunshade would no longer retract. I just remove the black sunshade and use this gold visor. The quality is superb but you need to get use to the sepia color. It’s like it changes the color of what you see temporarily after riding for a while and then flipping the visor up. Your eyesights will adjust back to normal after several minutes. It looks great in a white helmet!

Great visor that transitions quickly in the sun. Makes riding without sunglasses on much more comfortable. Installed easily in less than a minute.

I hate to write this review of this product as I have purchase other helmet visors from Helmet Shop. But the photochromatic feature of the visor stopped working after about three weeks. The visor may get to a light smoke, like 10% to 15% at best in bright sunlight.Very disappointing. Love the product initially as it got really dark in sunlight. But not any longer.I would not purchase this product again.
