Absolute waste of money, this product does not attract of kill any type of fly or bug.

At this time of year, I'm plagued with horse flies (cleggs) during the day & midges in the evening & night, so thought having read other reviews, I thought I'd try this unit.It charges up during the day with a solar panel, and switches itself on at dusk, and back off again at sunrise. It has a UV light which attracts flying insects, which get zapped & fall into the tray, it also has a white light function. Both can be used during the day as well.First night and a few hours in caught loads of midges & other flying insects. I've also used it indoors to catch bluebottles etc.Great service & arrived on next day delivery.Highly recommend this great unit!

I was particularly drawn to this fly zapper due to it's unobtrusive size and design. It hasn't disappointed. It seems much more high powered than most too. I have noticed a huge reduction in flies since I installed it and the added bonus is that it can be hung at a suitable height for maximum effect. I would buy from this seller again and find it great value for money.

hardly ever write a review but felt compelled due to its useless nature. had this now for 5 days, death toll 1 fly. yes, just one fly. other fly's are passing the dead fly producing amazing ariel shows in memory of their fallen comrade, obviously not tempted by the tiny little blue light. sadly this battle has been lost. invest in heavier artillary, would be my advice.

This is only good for outside not in the house

It looks good. It is a nice neon purple-blue.It doesn't kill flies. In fact, the flies seem to also quite like the view and sit for hours staring at it.

We received this on 22/6/23. Worked extremely well, killing loads of flying pests, unfortunately as of 28/7/23 it refuses to recharge, the blue light is extremely dim and doesn’t attract anything anymore, so I couldn’t recommend this product, I’ll have to pay more for a better product.
