It's a great supplementary for cats to protect their bladder and help with cystitus. These capsules are great value and easy to open and sprinkle in their yogurt treat, Lickilix. These are the best value I have found and are effective. My vet even checked the ingredients and approved. I give 2 cats 1 each daily.

Our male cat suffers from occasional bouts of Feline Idiopathic Cystitis, and this product has made a real difference. After adding the contents of one capsule to his food each day, he’s back to his usual happy self. We now continue to use it daily for maintenance, and it’s been incredibly effective. Great value for money — highly recommended.

I've bought these multiple times as I have a cat with bladder problems who needs to keep his urine at a certain pH to prevent his problems recurring - and these are doing the trick. I was told by the vet that my cat would need to be on a special urinary diet for life; however such diets are extremely expensive so I was hoping to find a less-expensive (but effective) option. My cat is doing brilliantly, two years on, by taking these capsules on alternate days. WARNING: cat bladder problems vary (some are cause by being too acidic, some by being too alkaline) and you MUST KNOW which applies to your cat, as the wrong supplements could make the problems worse. If your cat has problems keeping his/her bladder to a healthy pH, PLEASE FIND OUT FROM YOU VET WHICH SUPPLEMENTS ARE APPROPRIATE. My cat is happy and healthy, thanks to these.

We inherited an elderly cat who had on and off been passing blood in her urine for the last couple of years. After her owner died, I made yet another trip to the vets as she seemed to be screaming in pain when she went and was worried that there was something more sinister as we had lost a cat to bladder cancer. The vet said it could be stress related and we came away with more antibiotics/anti-inflammatories and the suggestion of having expensive tests. These seemed to have no effect so after a few more weeks, I felt it wasn’t felt for the poor cat to suffer and decided the time had come to let her go. The vet said as she was eating and seemed happy in herself that it was worth another shot at medication so we tried again to no effect. I then started googling whether you could buy cat medication like we can for ourselves and this product seemed to have good reviews. We give half a capsule every morning (easy to separate, pour out and seal back up) and have not spotted any blood for a good couple of months now and there is no screaming at all! We have spent £100’s at the vets when all we needed was something on a permanent basis to keep her free of infection. I feel so bad I nearly threw in the towel because I was worried she wasn’t having the best quality of life but now she takes these capsules, she certainly does!

I'm about 80-90% sure this worked. My cat got better but I can't be 100% sure this is why. Worth a try though

I wish I had known about this product before spending just shy of £200 at the vets. Had two vet visits, prescribed two lots of antibiotics, only for my cat's cystitis to return for a third time just a week after finishing the second lot of antibiotics. The vets had been quite insistent that if it came back again she would need to have tests done on her kidneys. Being highly skeptical after 2 failed lots of antibiotics, I googled cystitis in cats and apparently it is quite common in female cats and very rarely caused by a bacterial infection! After a bit more research, I came across these tablets and decided to give them a go. They cleared up her third bout of cystitis without any veterinary intervention and so far it has not come back! She is also back to her usual happy self which she hasn't been since her first bout of cystitis and first vet trip! I am so happy with these tablets, I have got my happy cat back, she eats the tablets with no issue (and she is usually very fussy) and hopefully they will continue to keep the cystitis at bay!

The cat seems to get stress incontinence. The vet gave her some medication that cost more than a weekly shop for a family of 10. So we tried this. It works. She has 1 in the morning on wet food and even being a stuck up and fussy madam she still eats it.
