A nice brush to use could be a bit longer

Tidy
Great brush for brickwork, it’s just that little bit softer so if the mortars that touch to wet it doesn’t smear

according to a bricklayer this is a very good brush for the job. Just keep it away from the family dog it loves them.

WAY TOO SOFT
I got this brush to replace a standard old one I had, due to the reviews I was inclined to buy it and after 3 months using it heres my review: This brush is simply TOO soft for normal brick and block work. Its an amazing brush if used spot on, but as a bricklayer odds are you arent one of those. If you havent bought it, dont buy it, save yourself a few pounds, because youre not gonna like it that much, trust me. You want to look for a harder brush, one that lives the joints full as you brush, this one will simply make them smooth, but in daily working conditions, most times its too soft to even do that.

ideal bricklayers brush
Im a bricklayer, and its ideal for brushing finished brickwork. The bristles are very very soft so it doesnt leave brush marks on your bed joints. The only downside is,although the length of the brush is thirteen and a half inches, the handle takes up five inches of it. So as far as im concerned ,the actual handle could do with being bigger and so could the main brush. Other than that no complaints.

1-29-13. It was tough to find a U.S.A. made product of this type, but this is one. This brush appears to be well made, by today's standards, as poor as they are. That doesn't mean the brush is poorly made, but the alternatives seem to all be Chinese in origin and are poorly made. This Kraft tool replaced a 50 year old brush similar to it that cost me $1.70 new. The old brush had a very smooth fiinished rounded handle with the manufacturer's name and price physically impressed into the oak wood handle. It still has lots of bristles in it but 50 years of use has reduced it to my outdoor workshed use. The Kraft brush has a faily smooth handle that is obviously well-sanded and varnished/laquered (not sure which). The bristles appear to be well inserted in the drilled wholes. Time and use will tell if they stay put or fall out as the Chineses junk do. Not sure what wood is used for the handle but the brush is very light in weight, so I don't think it's oak. Price-wise it's a good trade-off to get an American made product.

I bought this brush because it last forever without braking down like the nylon one. I still use one I got when I was in the navy over 20 years ago. Still does a great job and I am so please with this fox tail (what we called it in the navy) I bought 2 more for indoors and outdoor use. Also gave one away as a gift.
