King size Malm (ikea) + sleep number mattress + these slats = :)
I bought a king size Malm bed from ikea and didn’t feel their slat options would be supportive enough, so I ordered this. Honestly the box arrived a bit damaged, but everything inside was for the most part okay. The slats were super easy to assemble, I did it all by myself and it was pretty fast and simple.I had purchased a Zinus bed previously and was happy that the assemble of these slats was just as simple and easy. These fit inside the Malm bed, but it’s not as snug as I wanted it to be, so I actually cut a chunk of styrofoam from another package we had ordered and placed it in the gap between the metal frame of this and the edge of the bed frame. It works great, and will hopefully keep it from sliding, moving, or anything if the sort. I’d rather have it have extra space that needs filled than be too big and not fit, so no complaints. We have an old sleep number mattress, and these slats seem to be supportive enough. I know it’s not made for that kind of mattress, and technically the slats aren’t as close as is recommended, but finding something supportive enough, other than putting down straight up plywood, is tough. This does the job. The mattress is old, so I’m not worried about the warranty—I think technically the slats should be two inches apart or closer? This is over two but less than three (I didn’t measure). Using these slats with our sleep number mattress hasn’t been an issue. We’ve been sleeping on the combo for about a week and it’s nice and comfy! The slats at first seemed maybe a little flimsy? But once we put the mattress on, it feels nice and solid. I’m glad we purchased!

True to size, easy to assemble
This frame was easy to assemble and fir perfectly in my old double bed frame. I’ve put a 12” hybrid memory foam mattress on top and it doesn’t sag. Perfect!

Almost perfect - but measure first!
I needed a low-profile bunkie board to provide additional support for my queen latex mattress, sitting on a poster bed frame that has just 4 slats. Overall it was extremely easy to put together and it seems like it will fit my needs well. I'd give it a 4.5 if I could.Measure, measure, measure! My only warning is to make sure your bedframe will support the bunkie board. I have the bunkie board sitting on the existing slats, as without them the frame for the bunkie board would only barely sit on the inside lip of the bed frame. If you want this to replace your existing bed slats, make sure the bunkie board will fit properly inside the frame. The slats are approximately 2.75 inches apart, so they are nice and close and provide a lot of support.Overall, quality and installation are excellent. Everything is extremely well labeled and it took me exactly 23 minutes to put together by myself, including unboxing and reading instructions. On a scale of 1 to 10, difficulty is maybe a 2 at most. I can summarize the instructions:1. Attach the two opposite corners of the bed frame, both labeled 1. Requires a total of 2 bolts, for which they provide both a handy ratcheting tool and an allen wrench.2. Attach the two remaining opposite corners of the bed frame, both labeled 2. This is where I encountered my only difficulty, as they wouldn't quite line up and slide together without a couple of bangs from a hammer. Requires a total of 2 bolts.3. Attach the cross brace for the frame. Requires a total of 4 bolts. Congrats! You are completely done screwing bolts!4. Lay out the wooden slats on the frame, which adhere via velcro strips. It's an extremely elegant solution and the velcro kept the slats firmly in place even while I was carrying the bunkie board vertically into the bedroom.5. Lay the bunkie board on the bed frame. Remove the 2 nonslip strips on the slats and lay your mattress on top.6. Have a beer on your new bed.Good luck! This definitely seems like a worthwhile purchase.

Well made and easy to assemble
I bought the full-size model to complete my daughter's crib-to bed conversion kit, and it was the perfect solution. I didn't want to use a box spring since it would have made the bed higher than I wanted and this fit the bill perfectly. The frame is very well-made, sturdy and designed to last. I especially like the velcro on the sides so that the slats do not move and make noise like so many others. Assembly was a breeze and made even easier with the included mini socket. I wish more manufacturers would include those. Makes life so much easier. The quality is outstanding, and I have no doubt this will provide support for years to come. Highly recommended!

Easy instructions and installation. Nicely packaged. Product, hardware and handy tool feel of good quality. Took me and my husband less than 10 minutes from unboxing to completion. Haven’t used with a mattress yet, but I don’t expect to have any issues. Bed will used mainly for our growing toddler or guests when needed.

It gave my bed added strength.
Works well on my king size bed, but it's about a half inch narrow. It did however reach the wood cleet to carry the weight on the bed rail. I used the packing foam blocks to compensate for the gap. I didn't even peel off the cover of the sticky tape because my mattress didn't even move and maybe I want to flip it over later or around. It does slide on the bed frame though, but I screwed it down in place with some L brackets at the foot of the bed. Once again I use some foam blocking to leave me some space which is perfect to sit down on the mattress and put your heel on the end of my bed to tie your shoes or whatever. My bed is longer than this, so if you slide it all the way to the foot you'll have less support up at the head. I have drawers under the foot of my bed, so whatever works for you. It is quiet when you roll over. I only have three supports under my bed and I had nothing else. The price is good because it's the lowest I could find. The quality seems to be good even though a little narrow for my particular bed. I made it work.
