Value for money
Price £12.49. Other well known suppliers of spare parts, prices range the from £26 to £46. Delivered and fitted within 24 hours. Tumble dryer now working. If you are replacing the switch in an Indesit IDV 75 ignore u-tube. You will have to remove the top and side panel. Lots of screws, including those under the side panel. Even then it is extremely fiddely manoeuvring the new switch into place.

Relatively Simple DIY fix
Update: Just reduced to 4 stars as the new catch has popped out of the holding slot after just 5 days of use. Now having to add some contact glue in the hope of keeping it in place. Maybe I'm just unlucky!Old part had a broken spring, so took a chance on this at under £9.Fairly simple to swap out once you have removed the top and control panel, although as my arms and hands are on the large side I also had to unfasten the front panel to get into the part. Remember to take some quick photos of the wiring if you have to unplug any, which is likely as Indesit dont leave a lot of slack!once all thats done the hardest bit is getting the old part out, as its junk I would suggest rotating it to save time.Took me about 35 mins start to finish and I'm no pro. These are fairly simple parts so I am not expecting there to be any issues with longevity.

Affordable replacement
So happy that I found this replacement part. It has saved me buying a new tumble dryer. A little bit fiddly to put in, but fitted perfectly and my tumble dryer now works again.

Great product, straightforward to install
So, the door on my Indesit tumble dryer would not stay closed - and it needs to stay closed for the tumble dryer to work. A quick search on YouTube will get you a couple of videos that will show you how easy it is to remove the old one and fit this replacement. Should be well within most people's capabilities and for £8 or so you get your tumble dryer working again! This is well worth the money and is identical to the the original Indesit part
