So so smooth, only my dullest nibs find their way into the grain (and you know that’s just a sign to bin the nib!). I tend to use Nikki g and brause steno 361 mainly. No feathering, no blotches, no bleed through. Have used gouache, sumi, water colour, fountain pen ink with added gum arabic, and walnut ink - all with perfect results. The paper isn’t brilliant white but it’ll do for home made projects and gifts. Not thick enough to use as card stock but holds up well in a frame. This has been my go-to project and practice paper for 2 years now. So good for practice that you can even use the reverse side!

I would recommend this paper to any lino/woodcut artists as it's a good balance between weight and quality. I need slightly lighter papers for lino printing but don't want to compromise on quality so this is a good choice for everyday printing or test prints

The paper is good and fit for purpose.

I've used this paper for a long time for pencil drawings and I am always happy with the result, just be careful because it is easy to get it dirty while working.

The pads were just what I wanted but the delivery time was not very good.
