Order 1/2 American size up!!!
Absolutely love them, I do more than just ride in these boots, they are that comfortable!!!! I wear a 10 1/2 so I ordered the European size for an 11 and they fit great , as for comfort they are very comfortable, there is a short break in period around the ankles of the boot but the sole is good to go right out of the box.

Great boot for the Serious rider.
If ur like me & ride ur motorcycle, yr round, in bad weather, in cold temps & especially any or all combined, then these might be the boots for U. I ride Harley Dyna & because I ride a lot in some most unpleasant weather conditions I was looking for a good durable boot. Being I come from an off road riding background, I was looking for a cross between an on & off road boot. These hit the mark for me. Just a few tips if u end up checking these out. They are stiff & will take a little time to break in, but once they do they feel great. Next, get urself a good insert for them. I went with a memory foam one & it feels like walking on a cloud. Boots have some weight but w/ the inserts u don't really notice. Lastly, make sure to spray several good coatings of waterproof spray on them. Make sure in soaks up into the leather really good. Other then that, these boot seem to do what I needed them to do. Rode in some heavy rain not too long ago & these boots held up good, feet stayed completely dry, foot doesn't slip off pegs, grips shifter very well. This boot is definitely worth consideration, but would most likely benefit type of rider who tends to have to deal with unexpected changes in the weather during their rides. Weather it be their daily commute or getting in the long miles. One more thing that I can say is that when it comes to putting on rain gear in a flash, these boots come off & back on in literally 2secs. No laces to lace back up. Just slip ur foot in & close straps, that's it. Any rider caught in the rain B4 knows how important speed plays a factor in getting on the rain gear. These boots definitely aid in that.

Great Boots! ---> but it took me a long time to get things right.
TLDR: My foot is a 10.5 4E Width. The Euro 46 (size 12) is a good fit. I have HUGE calves. This was a problem, so I stuck a Big Mans set of insolves in the boots ON TOP of the factory insoles (which kinda suck). This not only made the boot go from good to great, it solves teh problem with the boots being able to close over my calves.Long Version:Like anyone reading this review, I wanted more protection for my legs and feet. I do a lot of distance riding and knew I needed something comfortable AND tough. After lots of reading and reviews I settled on these boots. Once done, I just had to buy them. At first I ordered a Euro 45. They fit OK and felt OK... but I did a quick walk around my block with them. Bro, NO WAY, what felt OK went to TERRIBLE and painful very quickly. After limping back home those boots came off and I was heartbroken. They felt like they were the right size for me, but my toe kept sliding into the toe box with paintfull consquences... and I couldnt get the velcro to close over my calves. :(So back they went. I spent ANOTHER big pile of cash and ordered 46s, as I knew I wanted to improve my foot and ankle protection, even if it cost too much money. (eventually the refund processed, whew). These boots arrived and I was very suspicious. But damn, they slipped right on and felt GOOD. I closed em up as best I can and walked around the house with them for about an hour... and they were still GOOD. I then decided I could keep these, so I stuck a set of fatboy thick insoles in them on top of the paper OEM insoles. Then I went for a long walk. Results were positive!I started playing with the tension adjustments till I found one I liked. (Got it a little too tight then backed it up a couple clicks). Then on their first ride they were great. Now, there is difinitly something MUCH beefier down there. You KNOW at first there are touring boots on your feet. But after some good corners and a couple hours, it got very natural.I would reccomend these boots to you if what you buy feels GREAT. If it doesnt feel GREAT, send em back and try another size and some insoles.

6 years, 50000+ miles..
They held up fairly well - I've done over 50 thousand miles wearing these over the last 6 years - and I'm ordering a new pair - that should say something. I was commuting - pre-pandemic it was a daily ride. My duck feet (very wide toe, very narrow heel) loved these. I wear a 10.5 usually - bought an 11 and they were fine. Rode in rain and they did not leak, can't speak for getting them submerged or walking in snow. Living in the desert means dealing with a lot of heat - and they were not too bad up to about 105F. A few minor complaints. They are tall in the foot area - which will probably require adjusting your shifter. I ride a DL650, and the stock peg location was just fine. I wore the stock pegs out, and the ones I replaced them with did require a minor adjustment to allow the boot to go under easily. Some minor issues - minor because it took years for them to finally crop up. The rubber pad on the left one began lifting - part of that is because of the shifter I'm sure. Gorilla glue to the rescue. The heel on the right came partly loose - probably my fault since I tend use "step on heel" to remove shoes. For 5 years. Glue again. My biggest gripe, and it's why this review is only a 4 - the hook/loop for closing the top of the boot has worn out. As in I can't get them to stick worth a hoot. But.. again, they were on/off twice a day 5 days a week for 4 of those 6 years - pandemic you know. But for the velcro I probably could get another 50K miles out of them. Who thought putting something like velcro on such a durable boot was a good idea? I mean, seriously?
