Aboslute JUNK!!!
The brake system just does not work. With the magnetic set to max, and the brake tightened completely, this reel will birdnest with little effort in the cast. There is enough space between the spool and the housing that the (15 lb) line will find its way into the magnetic brake compartment and cause the birdnest. I only bought this reel to match the color of a rod i had, so i was not expecting it to act like my high dollar reels. I figured it would be good for the grandkids or be a spare for friends. After the 3rd spool of line was birdnested so bad it was going to have to be cut, it was removed from the rod and put straight in the garbage where it belongs. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Bought as a gift for my 17 year old son for a fishing trip. He caught 3 bass on it. He said it worked as expected.
