This product is the only ca-akg product that doesn't give me gi distress. I've tried standard capsule, powder and even liposomal gelcaps. I think this one has the special delayed release enteric capsule that helps eliminate irritation. Will keep buying!

Without FDA oversight, it's always difficult to sort out which supplements might be reliable. A company that separates out and lists elemental ingredients tells me they might be more reliable and knowledgeable about the product they are selling.As a medical librarian I do a lot of research before choosing a particular formulation. While Ca-AKG has few human studies, the results of animal tests show some value in improving mitochondrial function, particularly in the gut. I was looking for a supplement that would supply added calcium - came across this formulation and after my research decided it might be beneficial for both the added calcium and improved function, and was a fairly low risk. After 3 months, I do notice improved gut function and much less discomfort and plan to continue taking this product. NOTE: tried to order it a few days ago and saw it was unavailable. Just before submitting this review a search using Longjuvity and/or Ca-AKG did not bring it up. Perhaps Longjuvity needs customer feedback to continue producing?Meanwhile, I've had to order another brand.

I only took 1/2 dose for about 3 weeks. I have been lifting weights for last 2 years and changes have been minimal. I see noticeable changes in muscle mass after taking this for 3 weeks

I only gave four stars because I have only take it a couple of times, it does give me a boost of energy and more stamina. would give it a 4.7 probably.

Seems to be a good product so far this is my third bottle. No problem with absorption. It passed the test in water as well. I will report back my next calcium test

Review.I have seen a lot of articles talking about the benefits of calcium AKG for healthy aging, but could not find an affordable timed release CaAKG supplement on Amazon. However this product from LongJuvity Labs seems to check all the boxes, and is a fraction of the price of their competitors. I have only been taking it for a few weeks, so it is probably too soon to notice any major effects, I do notice an improvement in my mood and energy levels, so hopefully this will continue over time. The capsules and packaging look high quality with no breakages, and shipping was on time.

Calcium AKG is thought to have properties associated with increasing longevity. I have decided to take it to see if I feel that it is helpful.I feel that this brand seems to be more transparent and reliable.
