Buy this if you need a can opener, I highly recommend it. It’s an excellent quality product made out of solid steel, no flimsy plastic pieces that will break on you. It’s reliable and gets the job done, I’ve used it on 100s of cans. It’s never failed on me.

It is sturdy and works great, better than the ones I get from the local grocery store. I like that fact it has no plastic or rubber because that can peel off after a sitting in water, rubber and plastic holds food an bacteria and it starts to crack and fall off after a year or so. Stainless steel will last for a long, long time. It is easy to clean and sanitize. It looks really big in the picture but it is not, just normal size but the crank handle is a little longer than the other ones I own which helps with opening tough cans.

Another reviewer wrote that the rivet connection is weak and will break. I disagree. If you don't abuse it, it will last-- don't clamp down unless the cutting wheel is seated correctly on the can lid. This is a fine piece of equipment. The cutting wheel is sharp. The total stainless steel construction keeps it rust free and easy to clean by running water over it. I highly recommend.

My favorite can opener thus far!! It’s heavy and durable!! The rest break so easily, this one is solid.

We’ve had a number of can openers over the last few years, but this one is the smoothest and most effective one we’ve had. We even had an expensive Brabantia one, but that malfunctioned after a few months. This one feels pretty good in your hands, is very smooth and works really well. It seems pretty robust, so I hope it lasts.
