Le Creuset stainless steel kettle: a top-notch, heavy-duty product that stands out on your stove
Le Creuset Stainless Steel Kettle: A Comprehensive ReviewThe Le Creuset stainless steel kettle is a top-notch, heavy-duty product that stands out from cheaper alternatives. Its compact size is perfect for keeping on the stove all the time, making it both practical and durable. The stainless-steel construction, both inside and out, ensures longevity and easy maintenance, with no ceramic materials involved—a feature that we prefer.Design and Build Quality-The kettle's compact design allows it to remain a permanent fixture on the stove without taking up too much space. The use of stainless steel for both the interior and exterior not only adds to its aesthetics and durability but also makes it easy to clean. Unlike ceramic kettles, this one does not require the delicate handling that ceramic materials often need.Durability-The robust stainless-steel construction means that this kettle is built to last. It is designed to withstand frequent use and is resistant to the typical wear and tear that comes with boiling water repeatedly. Additionally, it comes with a five-year warranty, further underscoring its long-term reliability.Practicality-One of the primary practical aspects of this kettle is its loud and clear whistle. This feature ensures that even if you are in another room, you can hear when the water has reached a boiling point. However, for those who are concerned about not hearing the whistle, setting a timer can be a helpful backup.Handle and Heat-The downside to any kettle is that the handle can get hot. Do not use this kettle on an oversized burner. The flames should not go beyond the base of the kettle. Do not let any kettle boil dry. It will permanently damage the kettle.Maintenance-To maintain the kettle’s quality, it is important to follow the instructions to drain it after each use. This practice helps to prevent scaling or rust, which are common issues with kettles if water is left inside.Conclusion-Overall, the Le Creuset stainless steel kettle’s solid construction and practical features make it a smart choice for anyone seeking a long-lasting kettle. Its combination of durability, easy maintenance, and a reliable whistle system ensures that it will serve well for many years beyond the warranty period. For those looking for a high-quality, reliable kettle, this product is an excellent investment.

Quality and beauty
I’ve had it about a week. I make tea 1 to 2 times a day. The water boils quickly. It’s heavy duty so you can feel the weight but it’s easy to use. It is beautifully made. I absolutely love the color - Caribbean (my favorite part of the world too). It stands out on the stove. My couch is this color and I have big windows with views of Lake Michigan which is that color on a beautiful sunny day. Love it!

Beautiful but not functional
It worked good for a month and suddenly every time you pour it, the water spurts all over the counter. Don’t waste your money. Our old one we had for 12 years no issues ever at half the cost.

Great, but with some deisgn and quality control issues
The good the bad and the ugly. The good:It's lovely. Matches my other Le Creuset and is close enough to my Lodge, all in red or Cherise. It's sturdy, no flaws in the coating or anything that I think could cause problems like rusting.Pouring is drip free. I've seen issues in reviews, but I think this is the newer model.Generously sized. Bigger than I expected for 1.7 qt.The bad:The handle is tall enough that pouring is awkward. The stickers were attached with remarkably stubborn adhesive. I had to soak them for a while in hot soapy water to get them off.The Ugly:The whistle assembly is attached crooked. Seriously for a kettle at this price point, that is just plain unacceptable. Points to possible quality control issues that I would never expect from the Made in France cast iron from the same company I've been using for 20 years. It would be 5 star if it was cheap chinese crap, but this is a pricey unit. It should never have left the factory with a crooked whistle spout. So one star off.It works great, looks good, and I've already used it a bunch. I really want to give it a 5 star, but I just can't.

Cadillac of teapots
Le Creuset is top end quality at a reasonable price. Looks beautiful. Works superbly with an induction range top.

What else can I say?
Our old tea kettle served us well but it developed some rust around the inside of the spout area. In order to avoid the possibility of consuming rust (at any level) we decided to invest in a new tea kettle. We were not sure about what product to acquire but we felt it needed to be of quality to hold-up to everyday use. We are not heavy tea drinkers but we do enjoy using high quality products when we can afford them. The Le Creuset tea kettle is amazing in every respect. It is enamel through and through and presents a pleasing appearance in our kitchen. The whistle is easily recognizable. Thus far, it serves all of our needs for brewing water for coffee or tea. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
