Prenatal Vitamins – Physician Formulated Multivitamin for Nutritional Support of Mother and Baby with Folate, Choline and DHA / EPA (30 Day Supply)

Forte Elements is one of my very favorite brands!!! They make HIGH quality vitamins and supplements and have wonderful customer service. I used to buy from them more frequently than I do now but they are still a go to and I loved these for pre/post natal.

Love these. My OB was very happy with them. I don’t get nauseas at all with them and I love that they have the right type of folic and also include DHA.

I got this as a gift for a relative who is pregnant. As a prenatal, it is pretty good. Let me outline some of the pros and cons.One pro is that this is in packet form. It makes keeping track of things easy versus having to utilize different pills from different sources.It also contains a lot of the nutrients a pregnant woman and her baby need, in adequate amounts based on the RDA for pregnant women.It has a lot of Omega-3 fats, which are hard to get, especially if you don't like fish. It also has plenty of folic acid and choline, both nutrients that are very important. It contains a great form of folate, methylfolate. Some people have a gene mutation in which the body has trouble turning regular folate into methylfolate, the type the body uses. By including the methlyated form, every woman can benefit from this formula.Here are some of the cons. The major con I see is that the mineral forms are cheap. Minerals have to be bound to other chemicals to remain stable and be utilized by the body. Some forms are more readily utilized than others. For example, calcium carbonate and magnesium oxide have lower absorption rates than better (yet pricier) forms like calcium citrate and magnesium gluconate.Also, I think the Vitamin D levels are a little low based on more recent research, especially for babies being carried to term in the winter. This formula contains 36.5 mcg (1800 IU) whereas I personally believe 3000-4000 IU might be more fitting, but this is something that people disagree about.However, no prenatal is going to perfect and this is a good option.

Easy to swallow. All contained package for on the go and no bulky pill cases needed.

The quality and research put into this vitamin pack seem good. The fish oil pill does give me the occasional fish oil burps. I started not taking those pills from the pack and moved back to the oil I had been using from another brand. The individual packs are very handy because they're portable and keep pills together. I do have a pill case, but I've been known to misplace it or leave it somewhere. I have yet to do that with these packs. I have come across prenatal vitamins that I think offer more in terms of recommended amount or what is inside the vitamin and they are cheaper than this these. I do appreciate the added choline and it seems they update their formulas continuously. I wouldn't be surprised if this surpassed the prenatal vitamins that are currently selling for cheaper but offering more. It is far from a crap product. I gave it three starts for the fish oil and price only, you may like these more than I do and I wouldn't dissuade anyone from trying them.

Great packaging. Quality ingredients. Great all around prenatal with everything you need and DHA.

This is an expensive supplement for what you get and it contains weird ingredients such as polyacrylic resin, talc, and gelatin of unspecified origin, probably cows or pigs.

Great product. But a big pill burden. Split them up and you won't get nauseous
