I'm writing this review for those of you wondering if these are similar to the chubbies everywear shorts. I'll do a more in depth comparison, but from a high level they are extremely similar! There are a couple differences between them highlighted below. I have also included several pictures with direct comparison to actual chubbies which are my favorite shorts that I've been wearing for the past year or so. I snagged these up on prime day looking for a much cheaper alternative to my favorite chubbies shorts. These are super close for a fraction of the price.Biggest differences; maamgic is slightly longer (more material) overall despite having a half inch shorter inseam. Maamgic has also added a couple features not on the chubbies; metal tips on the drawstring, small key ring/loop on the front right belt loop, an additional 'change' pocket sown into the front left pocket. Maamgic also uses 90% polyester and 10% spandex, where chubbies is 89% polyester and 11% elasthanne.Minor differences; I would also say the threads and seams are a little more noticeable and visible on the maamgic depending on the colorway you choose. They only have one color for the drawstrings of the maamgic, if that matters to you. The chubbies have a slightly softer feel to them and less shiny looking, this could be that I've washed and been wearing the chubbies for awhile where I just got the maamgic shorts. The maamgic comes with a small elastic cord attached to the rear zipper pocket. There is also a slightly different tint to the similar colors of each brand just based on the materials they use.Maamgic pros; price ($37 difference), slightly longer overall, added belt loop key ring, metal drawstrings tips, added 'change' pocket inside front pocket, great basic colorways.Chubbies pros; name brand, slighter higher build quality (threads, seams, material & zippers etc) and overall softer feel, cool names for, along with, more colorways and patterns, both 6 inch and 8 inch inseam options.So if you're looking for a much cheaper alternative to chubbies everywear shorts, this is it! I plan to buy several in the colorways I'm missing from chubbies. I can't comment on the long term use of the maamgic compared to chubbies but I hope they hold up and last just as long! II is extremely hard for me to find shorts that fit perfectly on me. I finally found them I love these comfortable and good looking shorts. I ordered additional colors and plan to order every color.

My husband absolutely loves these shorts! He's always had a difficult time finding shorts that fit him everywhere. Great material for bulkier legs as well as a bubble butt. We got the Large and he's 5 10 and 210lbs for reference as well as the 5 inseam. He also likes that he can wear a t shirt as well as a summery button down with them!

Well made shorts made in china abit on the small size im185lb 6 feet and ordered a large size first ,arrived right away but to tight and smallGo up one size to make sure of fitNo problem getting return and new sizeThis is my second review as I wanted to add the shorts have an elastic waistband ,two pockets front and back with zippers and a draw string so you don’t need a belt.having worn for 5 days I can say the extra large is a good fit

My son absolutely loves these shorts. He's wearing them for work. They look professional enough for work and casual for everyday wear. Very flexible material. I had to order 2 more pairs. He's 6 ft and I ordered the 5" length. He thought the length was perfect. It looks like I will be ordering more pairs in different colors for him.

I bought these for my boyfriend and I love seeing him in them. He is a short king as they say so a 5in inseam is what he needs. The quality of the material is amazing. They're sleak, have a little stretch to them, wrinkle resistant, and he says very comfortable. He's able to dress them down with a tshirt or everyday activities and then switch the shirt to a polo or casual button up for a nicer dinner look. Girls if you're looking to get a pair of shorts for your man these are them. And guys if you like a shorter inseam and are looking for an everyday short, these are the ones. I bought them in black, gray, and the red. I will say the red does seem a little more coral to me. But they look great! Will definitely be purchasing all the other colors for him. And the price is good too.

I got the shorts on time as promised. Seem to be nice shorts with a nice fabric. I have yet to wash and wear but did try them on...the 3 star rating is because as others have stated....for a 5 inch inseam they seem to nearly hit my knee caps. While I am old if early 60's is that.....I am old school when MEN wore daisy dukes even in sports. I want those shorts that are the length of 70's John McEnroe tennis shorts! Not knee knockers. So these will only be worn maybe on an occasion we go to an outdoor seating restaurant and I can dress them up a bit. But otherwise...they are not shipping what you order in length. Sizing was fine. I do question if the zipper will hold up because it seemed to be a bit thin and flimsy but will see.
