These clips are nice and sturdy, and are the perfect size. I use one as a safety guard for my large German shepards prong collar, to clip it to her flat fabric collar (in case the prong collar comes loose). Works perfectly.

We only use these specifically for our walks when using with a prong collar. When used correctly, it’s a great safety! I attach this to the prong loop and martingale, for added protection if a prong got disconnected or loose. Because it is attached to their martingale collar, I take comfort in the safety. Great purchase and durability!

High quality and does the job.

These are really nice and solid. My only feedback would be if they had swivel heads and were a little longer as they tend to get twisted as the dogs move around.

The product works great for connecting a dog’s collar to its harness to reduce risk of escape during an outing. My only request might be to add a bit of length (couple of links) to the chain if the harness hook happens to be situated further back on the dog’s back. But, overall, a good product. Not too heavy. Just right.

I have a bassett/beagle mix with a short neck and loose neck skin. This shorter size chain is perfect. I was using a nylon longer safety attachment and had to wind it twice around the martingale loop causing the collar to twist downwards and was so thick twice cause the clip with the button to push open to open somehow and come off the leash. This shorter size chain has less bulk, is lighter than the longer nylon attachment, is shiny equal to the HS prong color shine. The clip is also better because there is no button to get snagged causing it to open by accident. I got some arthritis in my hand but had no trouble open and close the clip. The length includes the clip and is not just the chain length so initially appeared shorter than I enisioned but it works just fine and is perfect. I'm very happy with the item.

These small chains feel very sturdy. I feel like it’s one step of protection if the prong should not be snapped properly. I think you could use these for a key chain or to hang something also.
