A little larger than I expected, but still does the job.
I have one of those oil-less fryers, (The Big Easy), that I love to cook all kinds of thing in. I bought an accessories package for the Big Easy a while back that included some rib hooks. It gave me 6- round hooks and 4- flat hooks, the flat hooks are crap and I wanted to buy more of the round hooks. I could not find the round hooks to buy separately, but these hooks were the closest “looking” ones I could find. They’re quite bigger than the ones I have, but they still do the job intended for them. The smaller hooks have a ring on top, where you hang them from and it keeps the hook from turning left or right while hanging on the basket, whereas these “S” shaped hooks will turn left or right, which isn’t much of a problem. All in all, I’m happy with these hooks, they do what they’re intended to do, hang meat.

Stainless Steel Hooks
Nice set of 12 Stainless Steel meat hooks. I will use these to smoke some of the pig that we will butcher later this year. The hooks have one sharp end that is protected by a plastic cap. They are small enough to hand nicely in my smoker.

Nice hooks for butchering or smoking
I got these hooks with the intention of using them when I butcher deer. I typically quarter out the deer and then hang the quarters in a cooler. These hooks seems sturdy enough to do that job, I think they'll be fine for it. I may also use these in my smoker to hang meats during the smoking process.The only concern I have is that they do not have a point at both ends. You don't need a point at both ends, but that just means that it isn't flippable and you'll have to be paying attention to which side you're using when attaching to meat.

I have this on my steak ager with whole bone in ribeyes and they haven’t bent at all.
