Vital Wheat Gluten By Medley Hills Farm 1.5 lbs.
I put 1 tablespoon of this supplement per loaf of bread when baking bread—regular wheat bread, and sour dough bread to kick up the protein content, and to increase strength. There’s no taste from it that I can discern. The quality of the bread seems improved to me in the way of height, and crumb texture. I store it in my freezer to prolong the life of it. We live in a hot humid climate. I haven’t notice any issue with freezing.

Great for making your breads rise.
Vital Wheat Gluten is what you can use to help breads rise when you use low gluten flour, like rye or wheat. It’s also used to make Seitan, a vegan meat substitute. I use it to make bread that rises well, and looks great. There is no flavor to it in bread. It is gluten, so if you have gluten sensitivity, or Celiac disease, you should look for an alternative. The texture and quality are very good from this manufacturer. It came in a plastic container, so you don’t have to worry about it ripping, and lose of product.

Simplify my baking supplies!
This was a larger container than I wanted but the quality is good. I use this to make bread flour by substituting 1 tablespoon of vital wheat gluten for 1 Tablespoon of all purpose flour for each cup of flour in the recipe. This has helped me reduce the need for multiple flours. Simplify!!

Nice gluten for my baking needs!
Was happy to be able and purchase this for a reasonable price. I keep a smaller quantity in a glass jar in my frig and store the larger container in the freezer to keep it fresh. Should keep indefinitely. This gluten works well and I'm happy with my purchase.

Great help with bread!
I use this every time I make bread. It helps to keep the bread softer and works great in all breads. I even use 1/4 tsp in my sourdough to keep it pliant and the way I like it.
