Signature Fitness Olympic 2-Inch Cast Iron Plate Weight Plate for Strength Training and Weightlifting, Multiple Sizes

This is the second set of weights I’ve ordered from this brand. Wanted a couple of 25 pounders and this was by far the best price. Shipping time was quick, arrived 4 days earlier than estimated. Each plate weighed in at 24.4lbs, which is spot on enough for me! Plus the difference could just be my scale. I got the 2” olympics and no issues there. The grip cutouts make them easy to move around.The only thing that could be better is the box they are shipped in. It’s very thin and not really suitable for 50 lbs. Mine took a hit during transit obviously. Scuffed the weight on the bottom. But definitely won’t affect me keeping them. I’m also guessing the minimal packaging is a factor of the lower price.. Still a great addition to my collection!

I ordered the full set for this (bar with about 250lb worth of weighted plates). After reading some of the reviews, I was worried tbh. Since all the parts get shipped separately, I was worried there would be parts missing, or that they wouldn’t be as sturdy as I’d hoped, etc etc etc. I’m happy to report none of that came true for me. I received some of the weights last week, and the rest all came in yesterday, so everything was delivered as promised.Packaging - the bar was the worst. It comes in a cardboard tube and is REALLY stuffed in there. Get your exactoknives and box cutters (or a saw if you have one, lol), cuz this mfk is NOT sliding out, LOL. But once you deal with that, no problems.Quality - the bar is solid and sturdy. The plates are also good quality. They are the weights they say they are, and the soft coating makes them easy to handle. Did a set of deadlifts on them this morning to test things out and everything about it feels great! The full set is a bit pricey. It’s an investment (if you work out regularly), so I wanted to know it was worth it, but so far I’m very happy with this purchase. We’ll see how the plates hold up over time; I’ll update later as needed. But if you’re looking for a good quality bar and plates for deadlifts or squats, this is a great buy.

I recently purchased the Signature Fitness Olympic 2-Inch Cast Iron Plate Weight Plates for my home gym, aiming to enhance my strength training routine. Unfortunately, my experience with these plates has been far from satisfactory.The primary issue lies in the design of the 2-inch hole. It's incredibly rough around the edges, which has caused significant damage to my steel barbell. The abrasive nature of the hole has resulted in scratches and wear on the barbell sleeve, compromising not only the aesthetics but also the long-term integrity of my equipment.While the overall build of the plates is robust, and they do serve their purpose in weightlifting, the damage they inflict on barbells cannot be overlooked. This flaw is a major setback, especially considering the importance of maintaining the condition of weightlifting equipment for safety and longevity.In conclusion, I cannot recommend the Signature Fitness Olympic 2-Inch Cast Iron Plates. Their design flaw outweighs their utility in strength training. Anyone considering these plates should be wary of the potential damage to their barbells, which could lead to additional expenses and safety concerns. A reevaluation of the design, particularly smoothing the hole edges, is necessary before I would consider repurchasing or recommending these plates to fellow fitness enthusiasts.

The plates look cool, the grips are comfortable. Flash sale $97/pair.I say 4.5 stars because I bought four and they vary from 44.8 to 45.8lbs. I bought them for a leg press so the variance doesn't matter to me at all.Delivered on time. The packaging (just a cardboard box with lots of tape) was destroyed, but the plates were fine.

These arrived quickly and in good shape and the price was right. No complaints on the 2.5, 5 and 10 lbs plates that came in the set.

I did not weigh these but appear to be a good product.

I bought these weight for dumbbells. They are thin ideal for loading dumbbells. I will buy more
